Hampton Inn Hayward

General take on Hayward.

Hayward is in south central Alameda County. From there you take Highway 92 to the San Francisco Peninsula and then north to SF.

Hayward and Newark (another few miles south) are the two most working class cities in the county, so watch out for petty crime and the like.

Oakland, the County Seat, about 10 miles north, has some neighbourhoods (East Oakland especially) which are rougher than what Hayward has to offer. But if you are going to SF Oakland should not be an issue.
