Fraud
I stayed in the Hotel almost a year ago and was the victim of a fraudulent act by the front desk employees or somebody from the accounts department(Not Sure)
Upon check in, the receptionist couldn't find my booking.com reservation so he made another reservation for me and I informed him about my intention to pay partially as cash and the other part by credit card and he confirmed with acceptance.
Upon checking out, I paid the stay charges in cash and the other charges by credit card.
I was surprised 2 months later that my stay charges was again charged to my credit card by using the online authorization I gave them upon reservation.
The strange thing was the payment receipt having a statement (customer was not present to sign the receipt)
I was also surprised that they also released different invoice than the ones I signed upon check out and those invoices don’t carry my signature and all this to justify the act.
Since 10 months, I raised the claim to Master card and they communicated with the hotel and my case was not resolved yet.
I communicated with front desk managers (day and night shifts) and both stated they understand the situation and reached to a conclusion that they need my bank account details to settle the issue without making a fuss out of it and lead to firing of employees; and till today, they did nothing.
