The South Island Of New Zealand Is Stunning! It I
The South Island of New Zealand is stunning! It is significantly different from the North Island. From the ferry trip across the Cook Strait to each and every town/city you visit...you will be amazed.
In spring just after the school holidays (early October) is a great time to go. It isn't as busy at this time & you can pick up cheaper deals for skiing etc. because it's not peak season. It snowed when we were there, but this does vary. Their are plenty of cheap or free things to do & the air is so clear and clean, (compared to Auckland).
I'v had two holidays here and enjoyed every bit. I would advise making an itinery and going to a travel agent,they will organise every thing,travel,hotels,timings , flights etc The South Island has lots to see and do,whale Watch,Glaciers,Queenstown,you won,t get bored. North Island has it's own attractions as well.I,ts a beautiful country,nice people,Well recommended.
