Service is an important element from any manufacturing company. I have previously had this same after-sales cop-out from Sony and shall look around for another manufacturer. I do not like to be held to ransom by "built-in obsolescence".

The Sony Mds-jb930 Is A Great All Round Mini Disk
The Sony MDS-JB930 is a great all round Mini Disk recorder that I would recommend to all. It is also very reliable.
Nice Gear. The Filter Section Has Too Little Efec
Nice gear. The filter section has too little efect, but sounds OK. My B&W CDM-7 do not really reveal all the power of this section. Cool option is the PS/2 connector for PC keyboard usage.
