9 Days Unable To Play Purchased Games - No Help From Bfg Tec

I am now on day 9 waiting for a resolution to my issue. I purchased 2 games and I am not able to play them. BFG currently appear to be ignoring my request to resolve this.

If you want to buy games to play now or in the near future, go elsewhere because if there is a problem then BFG will not resolve it.

Games Only Work If You're A Subscriber.

I was a Big Fish Games www.bigfishgames.com subscriber for several years, and ended up with quite a large collection of games, all paid for with my subscription payments. Recently however, the games have not been worth playing, and I decided to end my membership. Everything seemed fine, until I tried to play one of the games I'd bought. This was a game I'd played many times, and was a favourite, but now it wouldn't work. I went to the Big Fish Games site, and searched their 'Help' option. It was not very helpful, as it just reeled off a whole lot of highly technical stuff that I had no clue about (I play computer games, I am not a computer technician/expert). Having tried the few suggestions that were understandable (uninstall and reinstall - change screen resolution), none of which made any difference. I have spent quite a lot of money buying games from Big Fish Games, and as long as I was a member, my games worked just fine. Now that I'm not a member anymore, my games don't work, and I'm not getting any help. For anyone thinking of becoming a subscriber/member of Big Fish Games, be aware, things will be great while you're a member. Not so good if you decide to leave.

I have been playing for over a year. Gopher golf and cascade. I have found that it is nearly impossible to wiin after a certain level. You are totally at the mercy of the game/computer.

Can't Buy The Games With My Gathered Points

I tried several times to get a game for the points I have (because of my membership I had for half a year) Right now I'm waiting while downloading a game (only 795 kb!) It stucks at 2%!

Used To Be Better, But Tired Of The Technical Issues

I have had a BF membership for over 2 yrs. While the tech support is available, I am tired of having way too many tech issues. And commonly you're told to reinstall the game and start over. Sorry, but when I'm 75% done with the game I am really not happy about doing that! If it were a brand new game, I'd understand. But it's happening with games that have been out 2-3 yrs, and the game forums are full of questions about the same issues over and over. The BF company doesn't seem too concerned about them; their typical response is to tell people to look at the walkthroughs. Hint: the walkthroughs don't always help.

My suggestion, if you choose to become a BF member: read the customer forums. If you see things being brought up again and again, it's for a reason.

Poor Customer Service

I have been playing fairway solitaire for about a year. Love the game when it works. Everytime I have tried to contact big fish co in Seattle it has been for naught. I have tried their email system to no avail and then I found a phone number to call. I'm not sure if they even have real people to answer complaints because they advise you to send an email. When I called again to complain the person said that they are 3 weeks behind in call backs, but never offered to expedite. Don't expect good service if you purchase a game.

When It Works Right It's Great

great place but having problems with playing the 'try' games. usually something goes wrong. am in emails with them now so see what happens. games and choices are really good. worth a try. only 3 stars because of my problems but as you see others give 5 stars and they aren't having problems. ty

Fraud!!! Lifetime Membership I Never Asked - Monthly Billing

I bought a game from bigfishgames.com a year ago. Since then I never visited this site.

Only today I fortuitously noticed from my credit card statements that I was charged for their membership every month!!! I didn't see any mentioning of purchasing monthly membership for $7 when I purchased a single game!

During the last year I paid almost $80!

I googled for this problem and saw A LOT OF PEOPLE being victims of that STEALING!

Today I reported about this fraud to my credit company and cancelled my credit card when I read they keep charging after cancelling membership.

STOP STEALING MONEY FROM PEOPLE!

Be Very Careful!

I have tried the trial games on a number of occasions and have been very happy with them.

Decided to buy 2 games as a once off- I didnt realise they were going to charge on an ongoing basis.

This doesn't appear as a direct debit on your account- they just take your money directly- so you don't notice unless you examine your bank statements carefully.

You cannot cancel this-- I have contacted Halifax and they have said this is particularly dangerous as companies like this have your details and there's nothing to stop your account being cleared out!!!

I cancelled the 'subscription' in May but they have continued to withdraw money--------

I have e-mailed them directly and an automated message said they'll respond 72 hours-- that was 4 days ago.

Getting worried now!!!
