Worst of the worst. Special place in hell for music gateway. 

Music Gateway seems professional but upon joining I discovered that moving my catalogue of songs onto the service was an administrative nightmare. I asked if there was a simpler way but was told no. On their pre-sales website it does say they can help with larger catalogues. Having spent £169 to join for the year I was very surprised. Other distributors manage to make the process much easier for only $20 a year. Upon trying to release music I encountered one technical error after another. I did email for help but waited a minimum of one day for each of my emails to be answered. Sadly I have given up on Music Gateway and want my money back. Despite being on the site for less than one month they have refused. I also offered to pay for one month's membership but they refused this also, I thought that would have been a fair compromise. They are sticking to the line that as I was eleven days past their 14 day money back guarantee period I can either close my account (and let them keep the money) or work with them.

I joined Music Gateway probably a year ago now and I've uploaded a lot of songs into my catalog. I have not received any placements YET....but I believe just like any synch opportunity it takes the right song, the right client and the right timing just like all my other opps.

I had a wonderful meeting this morning and he gave me some great advice at how to increase my odds of getting placements and more recognized on the platform...

I"m gonna make these changes...continue to create GREAT Music and leave the rest in God's hands.

I have been signed up to this account for several years. In that time they have done nothing for me as regards successfully PROMOTING my tracks. Their sync portal is useless. The website is poorly designed, does not give you iphone screen clear access, and as far as the years have shown, is always under reconstruction in order to fix the numerous bugs that plague it.

Their telephone support tries hard, often being so very apologetic for the many problems. Worst of all, large companies that I successfully do business with (EMI Music)do not interface with the M Gatewat playlist app...and though they promised to sort this out, in 5 years nothing has been done. Now today, the last straw is there, when Universal Music would not accept me sending song files to them, using the M G Play app!!

Strange cos it was UNIVERSAL that suggested years ago, I join up and use MG to facilitate communication.Now they just say they are no longer accepting the MG playlist app.

Ive had so many problems with MG.

I asked that they give me a year free of payment for all my problems, and until they had sorted their system out.

Nothing was offered or done...and they have just taken another £90+ subscription.

I pay them for storing my tracks. Nothing more! And I am an INFLUENCER!

AVOID THIS COMPANY UNTIL THEY SORT THEMSELVES OUT.

I signed up for one year just to see what it was all about and even though they said my song was quite relevant and made "the short list", I had to wait up to 9 months to find out yea or nay. There is absolutely no verification whatsoever and the fate of your song is put in the hands of people you don't know or trust. I had no intention of renewing my membership but they took it upon themselves to renew my subscription shy of one year. This is when I knew what it was really all about...getting your money. It took many back and forth BS emails until they finally reversed the charges on my credit card. They are playing you for a chump. Don't fall for it.

Their amazing platform offers a variety of services for an amazing price. A team of amazing creatives offering support and connecting people wanting to progress their career in the music industry. I would highly recommend joining :)

I have joined Music Gateway and I have placed nearly 70 tracks of music on it. I am tied to it for two years. It is a library that I assume some professionals in the industry use to obtain music they need. I get the impression that it is quite small as the opportunities arrive at a slow rate. I've seen recommendations for it, but I managed to make the playlist for one bid to date, but I hear nothing more after that. I will probably go for a larger library for future music. I think it needs to grow more to be an exclusive worthwhile library for composers.

Stay clear un less you have nothing better to do than dream of a sync placement...Music gateway is just another brinwave that relies on your money

to support itself,,sync placements through this co.are like hen's teeth...

just make the best music you can and release it,,,if its gonna be synced your phone will ring!!!!!

I’d highly recommend Music Gateway to Artists, Songwriters & Producers. I’ve collaborated with many Producers from across the world who I wouldn’t have access to with the site. Including 2x Grammy Award Winner Mahogany Beatz & Darren ‘Ghost’ Monson, who both produced songs on my latest EP - Love Letters. AND MG pitch your music for Sync Opportunities. A much needed & useful resource for the music industry.

A really great site for all manner of contacts and pitches . Perfect for the serious, wishing to advance their careers.
