Rootschat.com Very Poorly Ran And Very Unhelpful Team
Very unhelpful when problems need to be addressed, and they do not reply on any of their pages. I requested for a 13 year old comment to be removed over 10 years ago, which was written in a forum by a 14 year old (at the time) family member. After numerous messages and requests, the comment still remains there! Very unprofessionally ran and managed.

The website itself is dreadfully out of date, old-fashioned, and extremely hard to use, full of ad's.
The layout is not user-friendly at all and beyond frustrating.
Ask a simple question of how to do things and get banned
Rootschat are very unhelpful and not willing to help users with any problems on the website, and are very poor at replying back to queries/requests/complaints. No email to contact, and no reply when contacted through other means. Should be better ran and more professional and helpful!

Rootschat.com is the most friendly free genealogy site on the net. It has separate boards for every British county,boards for Australia,New zealand, The USA, a biginners area, areas devoted to occupations,military,phot restorationand dating and many many more. It is a friendly comunity of like minded members all eagre to help with every possible aspect of Family History reseach. It even has an "Off topic" area for when you need a break from searching.
Beware though IT IS ADICTIVE
I have been researching for near 30 years and use two of the popular subscription sites but when you hit a problem its good to chat it over with the Rootschat community
