So glad there is a website like this again to spend my time browsing through. Simple and to the point, discussing the terrible tv shows of my youth upto the rubbish of present day. Very amusing, very random and very addictive!!

Saved by the Bell, Karate Kid and ofcourse Happy Days are my fav pages ive discovered so far.

Just brilliant. A mixture of old school nostalgia and upto date reality tv nonsense that now seems to be standard on every channel. I havent giggled so much in ages. Some of the comments will make you laugh out loud so be carefull if you are pretending to be working will having a sneek peek!!

Hope the users keep the comments coming and the site will go from strength to strength. The website looks a little basic but its nothing that couldnt be fixed at a later date. Its certainly content rich cant deny that.

The mainstream media seems to place celebrities on an alter and together with the sheer amount of rubbish television (both past and present) which passes for entertainment it can all get a bit much! Thankfully Jumped the Shark offers both the dedicated nerd and the passing user the opportunity to comment, poke fun and generally laugh at TV shows, movies and celebrities. The ‘Jumped the Shark’ title refers to an episode from the old series Happy Days and a particular moment when the show went from being good to rubbish. This is now applied to TV shows or even people in the pubic eye and is the main purpose of the website.

It’s interactive and friendly, I haven’t encountered any trolls on jumped the shark and people seem to take particular pride in writing witty put downs – some of the comments on Jeremy Kyle and Cheryl Cole are very amusing. There’s quite a slant towards nostalgia which means it can be a trip down memory lane, particularly to the 80s and 90s. The site is obviously run more of a hobby than a commercial interest which gives it a good feel and the owner gives users the chance to suggest topics.

For some entertainment related banter that doesn’t take itself too seriously I definitely recommend a visit to Jumped the Shark!

www.jumpedtheshark.co.uk is clearly a homage to the old Jump the Shark website of old. Its very tongue in cheek and, as it says on the home page very sarcastic!!

TV, Movies, Celebrities and Other Topics are there to be commented on. You can add you own reason for when the topic 'jumped the shark' or vote on existing reasons on the polls. Its obvious the member have a vast knowledge of the subjects and a fondness of everything entertainment. But they clearly love the sarcy tone of the website. Some of the comments will have you laughing ot loud and its always fun finding a clasic show of the past that you had forgotten about.

I spend an hour or so most mornings searching through the A-Z's. It can get very addictive!!!!

The site is pretty basic at the moment but there is apparently new features in the works. Although i think the simplicity of the concept works fine in the meantime.
