Outlook Is The New Hotmail
I enjoy having access to Outlook because it assists me in my everyday life and in my workplace. It is a great, convenient app that I will continue to use.

Bad Service, No Customer Support
I used Hotmail (now called Outlook) for many years with very few issues, but recently that changed. For the last few months they have been putting messages that I want to receive into the deleted folder before I read them. These include emails I subscribed to receive, messages from my family & friends (who are in my address book), and even bank statements & bills from utility companies. I tried marking them as "safe senders" but that didn't work. I moved them from the deleted folder to the junk folder, then clicked on "mark as not junk", but that didn't work either. Meanwhile, they have allowed unlimited spam to flood my email, including many going right into my inbox instead of the junk mail folder. Creating rules did no good, and after a while they disabled that feature on me. Forwarding the spam they put in my inbox to Outlook customer service did no good (and I forwarded hundreds of them). Asking what they were doing in the "send feedback" thing did no good, and was met with silence even though I kept telling them I wanted them to contact me. Even when I asked if their people were too stupid to know the difference between spam & subscriptions, or accused them of intentionally deleting my messages or selling my email address to spammers, I can only say they did not deny any of those things.
Horrible Spam Filter And If You Are Abroad It Filters You!!
Doesnt matter what you do, you receive so much spam in hotmail compared to gmail. Not enough. Everytime I travel abroad I cant log in because the horrible hotmail filter believes that I am a hacker. So, I have to use a secondary mail to confirm, but I dont receive the dam code that hotmail send and cant log in. Amateurs!
Blocked
I've had my hotmail for over 20+ years. I've recently been locked out of my account and no matter how many times I fill out the recovery form it always comes back that they can't verify that it's my account!! I NEED this account. I CAN'T EVEN GET INTO APPS at the moment because I'm locked out. Even my recovery email address is changed. How do we rectify this?
Locked Out Of My Account
I have had an email account with hotmail for 19 years and suddenly last week I was locked out of my account and despite answering security questions I have been denied access. This has seriously disrupted the running of my business as we are all encouraged to use email etc. I have important documents and information on this hotmail site. I paid £ 27 for technical help which was on the hotmail web site and they failed to help me. I have found this experience very stressful and upsetting.

Was Excelent Email Service But Not Anymore
I used to love msn Hotmail service it worked really well and was easy to use. I loved it so much that when my internet service stopped using msn I paid to keep the service. the ease of use and the msn explorer were really great. It has seemed that for the last couple of years they haven't been updating the system to work well with newer computers. my msn explorer keeps shutting down no matter whether I am just checking email or on the web browsing. I have had to stop using msn explorer and switch to Microsoft edge and sign onto my email through outlook. msn explorer also won't let me open any attachments in my email. also if you have any problems the only thing they have on their website to help you is a virtual agent that doesn't do anything. you can't find any contact numbers and if you do a search online you get a bunch of different phone numbers and you don't know if they are legitimate numbers or not. I had problems renewing my account so let it expire hoping they would send me a phone number to contact. I eventually ended up at the member center and went to the msn answers tab and clicked on billing help and a window popped up with the phone number to the billing and tech support number and finally got the problem taken care of in about 10 minutes. they should have these numbers on their site and/or have a live chat on the website for all subscription services. there should also be an email address to send problems, complaints or suggestions too.

Idiotic Security Messerments And Only Offer Varif. By Robots
Utterly stupid security mesurements .. as soon as you lock in from an unknown device you are blocked.
Do people travel
do people have friends
do people work somewhere else but home.
do people use their accounts just as forwards accounts
only automated service to verify your account is provided
if ones calles the hotline noone can help apart from the automated service given
my account is 18 years old and as half the emails haven not arrived a moved to gmail. however using this mail on a new device it blocked. utterly unlogical and useless. my mailaccount has never been hacked.
Msn Is Always Bs
Hotmail has been very very very very very bad for years, I just kept it because it was free. But what has really disgusted me is MSN. It's always posting articles that are extremely biased or super gross. Every time I logged out it was a rush to close the page. Sooooo annoying, stupid journalists these days as we all know, and MSN has hired only that: stupid journalists.

Worst For Delivery
As a business owner I see that Hotmail is the most troublesome of all the email providers.
Hotmail have terribly over keen spam filters and blocking procedures. If you want to receive emails legitimately from businesses, DO NOT use Hotmail.
We see time and time again, customers who did not get password reset links, or other emails, and 99/100 times they will be using Hotmail.
The interface is also weak and not intuitive, compared to other services like Gmail. Gmail is much better.
The reason I am writing this, is because I want MICROSOFT to improve the service.
Never Again Hotmail!
From now on hotmail is dead to me. Have an account with them for more than 10 years and to retrieve have to go through many security questions I can't even answer + credit card details and some other information I am not going to provide. They already have enough information and still is no good for them. So sorry to say this after so many years, but it is time to say bye to hotmail.
