Virgin Media Is The Best Broadband Provider Ever, Not...!!!

I was sold on the VM sales pitch but now realise its just a load of bull. Being the only major cable provider they have a monopoly and their attitude is "take it or leave it."

The broadband reliability and bandwidth in RG5 is pathetic and appalling. I originally had vivid 50 before VM upgraded me to Vivid 100 but rarely got more than 20mbps and that's when it worked. Very temperamental and only worked when it felt like.

I've moved back to a copper wire provider last week on a basic fibre deal and have suffered no issues whatsoever and can stream movies uninterrupted for the first time in 12 months. I'm only getting up to 36mbps but connection is stable and adequate for my circumstances.

Trying to speak to VM customer service to cancel my contract is another saga and yet to be resolved. Virgin Media?? Virgin Mafia, more like..!!!

Virgin E-Mail is not easy to use at all. It does not have as many options as other E-Mails i have used at work before. Even looks cheap and basic! have decided to try and find something that gives me more scope even though i am with Virgin for my broadband.

I cant believe im paying £25 plus £11 line rental to them

they are horrific, seriously! everybody agrees... im just raging that they forced me to sign an 18 month contract or I would need to fork up hundreds to get my bt line fitted back and for them to remove their rubbishy fibre optic stuff!!!

Generally Very Good Indeed But Since The Breakdown

Generally very good indeed but since the breakdown, employing some people who do not know what they are talking about and only direct a subscriber to a web site.

Since this breakdown last week and a 48 hour gap, Virgin has or Tucow has, gone the other way and now blocking, without checking, mail from a well known legitimate sender.It is tedious to keep repeating this fact to the Technical staff - who have not yet corrected the problem.

Virgin Was Tops With Me And I've Been A Customer N

Virgin was tops with me and I've been a customer now for 6 years (2 mobiles, broadband, home phone, TV) but since they went to NTL it has been all down hill in my opinion. Fill out a contact us form and you'll get a reference number, but that number and 75p will get you a cup of tea - nothing else.

Their spam filters must be no longer effective as obvious key spam words for drugs, weight loss, and masculine problems still get through.

If they don't resolve the spam problem soon I'm going on an ISP hunt.
