Malware On Steroids

Was loaded on the side of a sourceforge program, takes over your browser, the uninstall does nothing, malwarebytes unable to remove it, locked up my disc recovery program, finally got rid of it with free one shot run of HitMan Pro anti-malware. If Microsoft is letting Conduit use this to get more users of Bing they must be truly desperate.

The Conduit Toolbar Experience Was Subversive, Dec

The Conduit toolbar experience was subversive, deceiving, a nuisance and it really pi**ed me off.

You have to manually rmove it. Change it FROM your default search engine as well as your home page on your browser. Go to software uninstall , find the directory where it is located and manually delete the directory. Pain in the ass but the only way I know to get it off your computer. File complaint with FCC, Congressman, Senator, Justice Dept and Homeland Security. This is a violation of your privacy rights under the law and they can be sured and their owners sent to jail if enough people complain (Assuming they are based in the U.S.) If the files more than likely came from CNET'S DOWNLOAD .COM. DON'T USE THE DOWNLOAD.COM website.Used to be great. Now they are the source of all this _ _ _ _ "add on" software that piggybacks onto what you actually want to download. Send CNET AN EMAIL AND TELL THEM THAT YOU WILL N E V E R visit their site again if they don't stop this b_ _ _ _ _ _ t.
