Please Please Please Stay Away From This Company

Hi all,

The service is so shockingly bad that I feel compelled to write reviews everywhere I can. Unlike some other people, I can't fault most of the support I received. They were helpful and tried to do what they could to help. However, the platform they try to support is so bad that they can only do so much.

Downtime is shockingly bad. Database data went missing on a regular basis. Database TABLES went missing. Database tables were corrupted. DATABASE went missing.

Could be ok for a student who wants to experiment while studying java and php, or somebody who wants to put up a website with their own recipes ( static pages only, nothing database based, for the love of your favourite deity or magician! )

The problem is that they keep on trying to sell you more processor power, or time ( not sure about the correct term here ), because tell you your application is using too many resources for what you are paying. I was told several times before my website went live.

After they deleted my database ( ... ) my application with a connection pool started writing to the logs for the SQLExceptions that were happening in a loop. The .log files reached 100 GB or something like that. I was blamed for the abuse of the resources they provide. This, again, was all because they deleted my database, and I hadn't caught the exception of "database disappeared". My fault, it is such a common problem I should have taken it into account.

This is not because of poor support, it was as good as they could be in those circumstances - apart from somebody called Vlad who always blames the customer for everything

The Kind Of Uptime Reliability, Stability And Feat

The kind of uptime reliability, stability and features Mocha host is offering, its many competitors are offering that. So there is nothing special about it.

But its customer service is horrible to say the least. Its like you will feel why... why on earth did I thought of saving a few pennies. Instead would prefer spending many more dollars for better and knowledgeable support.

Their support executives don't know their own dashboard and system. Pathetic.

You ask them X, they will reply for Y.

Worst thing is, do NOT buy Windows Hosting plan from these people. Their control panel is incomprehensible.

You will have to spend time in LEARNING on how to use their control panel which turns out is more expensive then hosting itself.

I just fail to understand why did they not provided a simple control panel... for example like GoDaddy does?

Stay away from these people for both Windows and Linux hosting. You will be happier.
