Letstorquebhp Is A Pretty Unique Site Based On The
LetsTorqueBHP is a pretty unique site based on Theory Stats using drive type, bhp and weight, and it does amazingly well to get so close to the real times. Don't know how it does it with such limited data. I had my reservations but find it to be 95% accurate and one of the best sites to compare performance cars, standard or highly modified.
Don't diss it until you've studied and looked at the stats and compare them to real figure, they really are that close that they can be trusted to compare cars.
When you think that magazines vary times considerably anyway, manufactures over quote figures, and tests have different conditions, they are never that great for a direct comparison anyway, so I site like this is probably better in that way.
Excellent, easy to use and very informative. I use it several times a week. Highly Recommended.
Overall This Letstorquebhp Is A Pretty Unique Site
Overall this LetsTorqueBHP is a pretty unique site that works quickly and very well, especially times for 1/4 miles.
I had my reservations about reading "theory" stats but they are amazingly close to real times, especially when it says it uses such limited data. Just look them up to real life and compare, they are so close, and don't know how it does it. There are 1000's and 1000's of cars on the lists, including predicted prototypes and one-offs that were never tested but it show hows fast they could of been, I've never seen this done anywhere else.
The 1/4 mile times from the calculator are about the closest I've seen compared to the real cars going up the drag strips, including the most tuned road legal Skylines and similar around.
Don't diss it straight away because it uses theory stats that can't possibly be right, just check it out first and you'll be surprised. I use this site all the time for comparison between standard and modified cars, it's one of the best sites around. Highly recommended, really!
I Stumbled Across Lets Torque Bhp Web Site About 6
I stumbled across Lets Torque BHP web site about 6 months ago when I was thinking about chipping my VW Golf.
The site is basically a list of every car you can think of and its performance figures. Cars are broken down in accordance to drive train, i.e front/rear/four wheel drive cars. The site then lists each cars 0-60 and 0-100 times along with the cars weight in kg, BHP Per Ton and standing 1/4 time and terminal speed.
There is also a performance calculator which enables you to calculate the 0-60 time of your car after a theoretical modification. You simply input the weight of your car and the new BHP figure and it gives you some idea of how the car will perform after the work is done.
There are also various links to forums and car chat groups along with information and calendars for various race meets ranging from touring cars to F-1.
I have looked at many car sites over the years and have often found it diffcult to find basic performance data on vehicles which can then be easily compared to other cars within the one site.
This site allows you to quickly and easily compare your current cars performance against others without having to navigate through, often torturous main dealer sites.
There's not a great deal more there but as a quick reference tool I haven't seen any better.
