I've recently taken delivery of a new Leon SC FR DSG from SEAT Lifestyle Brighton and was very impressed by their professionalism and courteousy. I ordered via a well known internet broker and delivery was 3 weeks shorter than originally quoted (special order from the factory)
Fantastic Local Family Used Car Sales
I can only describe my buying experience with Wilfreds as a smooth, non pushy professional delight.
Went here to buy my daughter her first car. The sales guy even stayed on late for us, as we couldn't get there in the usual opening times.

Rude, Rude, Rude!
Do not use this garage. Went there today with my partner and 5 year old child to view a car. The sales man told us he was the owner. He has to be the rudest person we have ever met. Told us to 'something' off in front of our child. When confronted about swearing in front of a child he said he could not give a something! (I won't let me write what he actually said!)
All of this because I had called a day earlier and arranged a test drive. When we asked about the fact the car was blocked in he said he would only allow test drive once we'd agreed figures. We said we would want to drive it first and he said he was not a bloody parking attendant! It was at that point that I commented on the fact he was quite rude and he started to swear at us.
Utterly gobsmacked!

He forgot o say that he himself was rude arrogant and showing off in front of his wife. No one should put up with these type of IDIOTS....think they know it all, but in reality they no nothing.
Wilfreds Of Sussex Avoid At All Costs
I had the misfortune of buying a vehicle from Wilfreds of Sussex earlier this year and cannot recommend them at all. The vehicle developed a major fault a couple of weeks after purchase rendering it practically useless, when reported they said "this was an old vehicle” etc. etc. and Wilfreds tried to abdicate themselves from any responsibility. They did eventually agree to look at it but I would be responsible for any labour charges incurred, which I now realise goes against the Sales of Goods act which states all costs for such a major fault should be covered by the trader. Don’t let Wilfreds tell you otherwise if you are unfortunate enough to be dealing with them.
Wilfreds had the vehicle for 3 weeks where ongoing misdiagnosis of the problem failed to fix the fault, with very little contact throughout that time and much of it evasive. I found their profile on a well-known auction site and through looking at their purchase history, I was disgusted to find Wilfreds had been using used parts from a breakers to attempt repair of my vehicle! I eventually had to threaten them with an escalation of processes to force a refund, though costs incurred to me such as lost tax and hire vehicle fees were of course never recovered.
Based on my experience, Wilfreds of Sussex are a terrible company and though they may “hear what you’re saying”, the left hand doesn’t know or care what the right hand is doing. You can tell the character of a company when things go wrong and Wilfred of Sussex displayed appalling customer service in my case; I would avoid them at all costs.

Good Points: Polite, helpful salesmen. Not too pushy. Gave us plenty of time to think about our purchase. Great deal negotiated. Picked up new car the next day. This is not the first new car we have purchased at this dealer so we know that the aftersales service is really good too. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I bought merc S-class with clocked milage and over paid for it many ££££.they lier and please, checked all paper work before you buy.I only find out on my last MOT,now I instructed my solicytor to take action against them into high court.it will cost me nearly 10k for it but I have 100% won case,so im not worry about costs.AVOID this company!!!!!

New Car Dealer Reviews is the first site I have seen that offers the chance to review garages in the UK. They say you can write about servicing and parts as well as car sales, so I suppose it's got to be a good thing? Although the dealer listing is 'currently'incomplete, there are quite a few on there and they have got an 'add dealer' button so you can add the one you want to review.
