Shocking Customer Service

Dont use Valet first

and here is why:

I am writing to inform you of the appalling service I received by Valet First on 17th December 2011.

I had originally booked my car on the 1st December to receive a full valet service at the cost of £XXX.XX (reduced to £XX.XX in the confirmation e-mail). I had booked this for 9:00am on the morning of the 17th December. I had set aside 3 hours in the morning in order to facilitate this service as I had to attend engagements from 12:30pm onwards and needed my car valeted for an important appointment early the following day.

At 9:30am no employee from Valet first had arrived nor had I been contacted to inform me that there would be a delay. I called the number on the confirmation e-mail only to be directed to a generic O2 answering service that neither informed me whether I had placed the call correctly, or whether there was any employee of your company present to assist me. I left a message with my mobile number requesting further information.

At 11:30am I had still not received any communication either by e-mail or phone and it had become clear to me that your company was incapable of delivering basic service commitments. I called the same number again and left a further message communicating my dissatisfaction with your service.

At 1pm no communication had been received and I had to leave my address in order to attend to other matters.

At 2pm I received a call from an anonymous mobile number which stated in under 10 seconds that it was your company and that I should call a private mobile number. No explanation was given or name to identify the employee. I felt disinclined to either waste my time further or indeed pay for calling an unknown mobile number.

Needless to say this incident required me to renegotiate several important appointments that day whilst I had to deal with the huge mistake your company had made. The following day was also severely impacted due to your company's incompetence. Can I express, at this point, my opinion that the customer services skills of your company are abysmal. Being 5 hours late for any appointment without explanation would be grounds for severe reprimand within my own business.

A written explanation and apology would be appreciated but until such times as you can provide this to my satisfaction you can be assured that I shall be warning any acquaintance of mine not to use your service and publishing this on select customer service websites detailing company's which treat their customers in such an appalling manner. No contact has been made with me in any form (28/01/12).

We Have Been Using Valet First For Our Fleet Of Ca

We have been using Valet First for our fleet of cars for over 2 years now and have been generally pleased with them. Their service has been efficient and price competitive which is why we continue using them.

We have over 8 company cars and we need a company who is on time and professional and Valet First haven't disappointed us yet...

I wish them all the best and as long as they keep up this level of service, I cant see us using someone else.

Great Service And Quality. Very Helpful Chaps Who

Great service and quality. Very helpful chaps who even offered some useful after care tips!

My friend had used them a few days ago but I was still skeptical letting anyone touch my brand new car. However, quite pleased overall and will certainly be using them again.

Price was a little higher than quoted elsewhere but happy to pay that extra if its done right the first time!

Very satisfied overall but a little expensive. Amazingly quick response times and bookings. However, quality was better than other companies I have used.
