My eleven year old son was struggling with maths in school, so much so he had become maths 'phobic'. He's been using Conquer maths since September and his confidence has risen, and he now loves maths. The videos explain everything so well, and in a way that is easy to grasp. When completing the worksheets online, if he gets stuck he can just click back on the video to help, and he doesn't lose his place. If he needs revision, we can go back a year or two for refreshing his knowledge. His confidence has grown and seeing his joy when he gets a high mark is priceless. If you are a home educator, or need extra helps outside school tuition this is everything you need for maths and more.

Conquer Maths is an amazing website,obviously (due to the title) about maths.

There are over 500 activities, with the main activity topics being number, algebra, space,shapes and measure and probability (or handling data in Key Stage 3 and 4). Out of those, I struggle most with algebra and shape,space and measure. Number is my most strongest and mostly I get them right in a test. My weakest in shape, space and measure is either area or shape. In algebra, the hardest is simplifying the equations. Usually, I try my hardest, every time I come on. But even if you do, silly mistakes happen.

The difference between primary school maths and Conquer Maths is that Conquer Maths challenges you and primary school maths is easy,simple.

WHEN I FIRST STARTED CONQUERMATHS I WAS NOT VERY INTERESTED. I USED TO STOP GOING ON THE SITE. ONE DAY I REALISED I WAS NOT GOING TO DO BETTER IN MATHS UNLESS I TRIED HARDER.[AT THAT TIME WAS DOING VERY POOR IN MATHS.]I STARTED SPENDING TIME OM THE SITE AND FOUND IT COULD BE INTERESTING.NOW THAT I AM DOING BETTER I AM REALLY HAPPY THAT MY PARENTS PUT ME ON THIS SITE. THE KEY ELEMENTS I LIKE ABOUT THS SITE ARE YOU ARE TAUGHT WHAT TO DO BEFORE GIVEN WORK. AT MY OLD WEBSITE THEY WOULD GIVE ME WORK AND THEN MAKE ME READ SOMETHING.THEY HAVE ALL THE TOPICS I USE IN SCHOOL. AT MY OLD WEBSITE I HAD ONLY 30R6 MAIN TOPICS.

ONE THING I DID NOT LIKE WAS THAT COULD NOT HAVE ASK QUESTIONS AT THE OLD SITE I WAS ABLE TO DO THAT.

I DO NOT HAVE MANY COMPLANTS BECAUSE I AM GLAD I GO ON THIS SITE.

Maths is probably the best lesson but there are parts which are either hard or boring. Conquer Maths makes all the topics exciting and gives you challenging and easy questions. It is amazing and no other maths website in the world beats it. Algebra was a hard topic for me a few months ago but I now really like it. I may not particularly like shapes as much as I like number but I have improved. As for area, I now know the area of a triangle, trapezium,parallelogram, square and other quadrilaterals. Speed skills is also quite brilliant. You get to try and do as many sums in a minute as you can. There are four levels. I am really good at it and I love it.

Overall, Conquer Maths is an exciting experience and make your maths better and better and better. I'd rate it five out of five (four out of four, three out of three, ten out of ten, etc).

As a mature student studying on my own, your site gives me precise guidance about the key issues that I should grasp about a topic. For example, in all the reading I have done about Linear graphs, I was still missing two key skills that your website taught me this weekend :-

1. Finding distance of a line segment by using coordinates and applying Pythagoras, rolled up into a Distance formula

2. The Point/Gradient approach to finding the equation of a straight line.

This is the kind of invaluable assistance that I need, trying to conquer maths without a tutor to guide me.

Have only used it for a short time but very impressed with the simple lay out and short clear lessons .My daughter was able to navigate with ease and found it straightforward and able to relate the lessons to the ones she had done at school

Been used by me as an a level student but also been passed down to assist my sister in year 5! Provides excellent support! definitely recommended as it targets all aspects of things that you may find difficult ad challenging. Also makes it clear to understand hard concepts!

My 13 year old daughter & 11year old son have both tried ConquerMaths out for first time for end of year exam revision. Great way of checking where your weaknesses are by doing end of topic tests & revisiting lesson & practise questions for the bits you can't do.

Definite winner in our house!!

If only this was available when I were a lad!
