I used Brand Republic Jobs when recruiting for a Brand Manager for a large FMCG organisation.

I had previously advertised this on the sites I had seen on TV like jobsite and Monster. I received a huge amount of applications from these sites but the vast majority had little or no brand management experience.

Our MD reads Marketing and so recommended I advertise the job on Brand Republic. When I called them the service I got was great, and the person stayed in regular contact with me to make sure I was happy with the response and advised me on how to write my job ad.

I was not inundated with candidates, but the applicants I received nearly all had relevant experience and I was able to short list and fill the role within a month.

The account manager we worked with Luke was very informative, supportive and tried to come up with ideas to better our recruitment campaign which was very helpful.

We were first time users of Brand Republic and found them helpful and supportive throughout the recruitment process. Luke encouraged us to format our posting in the most effective way. We had a good selection of candidates and made a successful appointment. We two recruitment websites, Linked -in and out own company website to advertise the post and Brand Republic was by far the most productive in terms of response rate. Our only criticism is that the process is a little inflexible. Candidates sent us CVs rather than our preferred approach, which is to link directly to the application form on our website.

I hadn't used Brand Republic before for any recruitment and was quite sceptical about what the end product would be. i thought it would also be difficult to complete the relevant documents etc. Luke Greenway - my contact was really great to work with and actually it was his personality and laughter in our discussion on the phone which made me go ahead to use Brand Republic and I wasn't disappointed. I got good service and it wasn't as complicated as i thought it would be getting the advert up and running. Our advert when published was very good. i liked the spread in the magazine and the colours used matched our organisational colours. i was given advice throughoutand I put it all down to the highly professional approach taken by Luke.

We were generally happy with the service and quality of the candidates. However it is worth pointing out that, not surprisingly, the types of candidate were very "marketing" so weren't always relevant for a partnerships role in sport.

I originally liaised with Rachna Bhanot who was very helpful and personable which is always a great trait to have within the area of customer service. My account was then passed onto Joe Johnson with whom I dealt with once our advertisement when live.

We have had quite a good success rate of quality applications coming through initially which then reduced dramatically after the first two weeks. As I understand this is the common response to any advertisement. From the CVs we received, we have three of them at the 2nd interview stage and we hope to decide on the right candidate within the next few weeks.

Overall we have been very happy with the service Brand Republic have provided, especially the very high standard of customer service I have personally experienced.

I will have no hesitations in recommending Brand Republic in the future.
