Worst Experience Ever In My Entire Life
the worst company I dealt with in my entire life, I am very very very disappointed , I would never recommend you to anyone , I booked a package Icelolly, they said that they have to check the details and then send me a confirmation email, they sent a confirmation email, then asking me to send my details and my nationality which I did, I get a phone call later to confirm my nationality ?!!!! I answered and I asked them if I should book my activities over there or do I need to wait, they said to go ahead and everything is ok , then I get a phone call before my flights with three days that the hotel reservation is not confirmed!!!!! and I have to be a British citizen after all the confirmation I got that everything is ok !!!! I said to them to book for me another nice 5 stars hotel which they refused and they asked me to book my own!!! I said them to refund my whole money and I will book it with a different company which they refused as well !!!! unbelievable !!!
the worst company by far and I am going to take it further !!!!

Me and my family of 7 booked a holiday through Icelolly.com in September 2017, we booked for 7 nights at end of July 2018, an Ultra All-inclusive 5 star hotel holiday to Antalya, Turkey with luggage and transfers for £388 per adult, £119 per child.
In May 2018, 2 weeks after paying the full balance and after waiting a very long 8 months we were getting rather excited for our upcoming holiday with only 9 weeks to go, then we got a letter though the post saying that the company we booked with Parade Travel) had ceased trading and our holiday was cancelled there and then. To get a refund we would have to contact ATOL and wait a patient 6-8 weeks before getting our refund (we were supposed to go in 9 weeks and had already paid for £350 worth of Travel money each, Insurance, Transfer to the airport, Turkish VISAs and other holiday essentials) Desperately needing to book another holiday for same time We contacted Icelolly to see if they could help us or explain why this had happened… as they were advertising and promoting the holiday on their site, making it look safe for customers to buy, so I think they should take some, not all, but some responsibility for this wrong doing and help us find another adequate holiday for the same amount we paid for…bearing in mind the reason we booked 10 months in advance was because as we are going during the summer holidays, when the prices are sky high, we can’t afford a £800+ holiday pp.
So after speaking to someone at Icelolly they said as they are only a "comparison site" they have nothing to do with it (how about find out major details about the companies you advertise and check they aren't in dire debt before promoting them to customers) they had no sympathy for our situation and not only did they not help us find another holiday for the same sort of price, they said they can’t even offer us a discount of any amount/percentage if we do decide to book another holiday with them, they were so unhelpful and rude. POOR SERVICE DOESN’T EVEN CUT IT!!
Never again will I go through this site to find a holiday, Icelolly you have lost 7 very decent customers due to the lack of understanding, customer service and humanity!!!

Greedy Company Who Changed Price For Commission.
This company seems to change the booking depending on how much commission they want.
Called this company and talked to a guy about the holiday . I saw a good deal on their website for £296. After giving up details the price went up to £500+ in 15 minutes because the hotel was "booked up". Haggled down to £350 with the same "booked up" deal but decided not to book it on principle. Three days later the "booked up" deal was still online so tried to book it again with a man. This time same thing happened but it was the flight that was "booked up" and went up to £450+ this time.
Why do prices change so much? Why is the hotel/flights booked up but still available online? Why did i have problems with the hotel on the first call but none on the second call? Answer to them all is Commission.
Do not book any holiday with them unless the online price stays the same. If it wasnt for their greed they would have my money now.

Dreadful Experience
We received a price off the website and called guy from Ice lolly who from the get go was a very rude and aggressive man. We received a quote and went ahead with booking and confirmed. They said we would receive a call back in 10-15minutes with our booking reference. After half an hour we decided to call them and were told that the price would have to go up an extra £79.00 due to their error. They confirmed one room and then had to change it to two and change our flight times. We spoke to a manger and he was as unhelpful as the first guy. I would never recommend or use ice lolly again as I feel they just bump the price up from their own mistakes and when trying to speak to them they become angry and speak over you without listening to your issues. Do not use them!!!

when you book never same price as stated or it is an indirect flight which no one wants or the deal that was offered has now gone and as this is not a live site has not been removed but next day that same deal is still there, wish you could just get deal on there they say you can its just a way of pulling you in for more expensive holiday

Misleading, Impatient And Rude
I have booked a flight and hotel through this company before and I was expectant that it would be more than advertised because I was travelling alone. The sales agent told me I would have to pay for the 'other' person as it was a 2 person room in hotel so it went from a couple hundred to over five hundred. As I was not accompanied I thought that this must have been the best deal and price however when going through them again to book a holiday for over the New Years period I found a very reasonable priced one for £157 however when I rang to book this the sales agent told me that there was no way I was getting it for that price as it was over the holiday period and it would be over £300 although it being advertised as much under the price even after I had rang to book. I accepted that this might have been more money and I have today tried to book what looks an amazing deal only to be told by rude customer service people that the deal didn't exist even though I was looking at it and because of the lack of reference number he would ring me back once he had looked into however I never received a call. In my opinion the prices are much higher than advertised and the call centre staff are rude. Having not had a call back I tried the 'live chat' where I asked two different questions in which I got the same reply that to book or ask questions I need to call the 'travel experts' creating a very frustrating outcome for me.

Icelolly advertised a particular hotel and flight that we wanted. After booking the holiday by phone, it took for ever for them to confirm by text, at 17.30 on 22/12/16, that documents were about to be emailed to me. However the documents didn't actually arrive until lunch time on 23/12/16. This was extremely stressful as we were on a tight schedule for 24/12/2016. These documents turned out to be for an hotel in Alicante we were going to Vilamoura, madness! After many phone calls I got absolutely no where and was about to give up and was refused a refund! then we were finally offered a flight from liverpool and hotel in Vilamoura. This hotel was not the hotel of our choice and we where extremely disappointed. Why display an hotel when you can't deliver it? The price we were promised was also more than agreed over the phone. It was just a litany of ineptitude. Finally all the phone operators had a dreadful attitude, beware this website is a sham.
Very Misleading / 'click Bait' Pricing
I have spent the last day and a bit trying to book a holiday through this site - and failed. The prices are very misleading - expect them to be at least £100 or so more when you ring up with all sort of excuses.
Why bother putting misleading prices down it just wastes everyone's time!

Do not take any of the price's advertised by Icelolly as it will never be the price you can get your holiday for.... they they are DOUBLE when you use the travel agents they recommend ..never again will I use this site :-(

i have just booked with this nasty rude, things...if you could call them that. I will never ever ever again use this company, there is 3 of us going on holiday they have only sent me the details for 2 of us for flying, I can not get hold of the man that booked it and no one else will deal with the issue.
I'm going to be telling them if this isn't sort within 24 hours then I'm taking legal action.
I'm so angry right about now, please DONT use them none of them speak English and make it sound very confusing about what happening, this is my first holiday abroad luckly I had my mother with me so she understood it more.
