Smeg Cooker Paint Peeling Off And Rusting
“Brought a Smeg cooker Model BM93BL from Curry’s .
In one year time knobs start breaking and display came off. Warranty covered both repairs. Within two years the paint started peeling off and rusting the door. Call Smeg and Currys for repair both refused saying “ cosmetic damage is not covered by our warranty”. It is not cosmetic damage, it is manufacture defect. Very much upset with this company. Spending thousands of pounds and not worth for even two years.”

Paid for next day delivery due today by 19:35. I was called just after 5pm by a rude delivery driver to advise they won’t deliver today as they have run out of time and would call back to reschedule. The item is a fridge freezer and my old one is being collected and recycled and therefore has been emptied and defrosted, causing a total waste of food. No one called back and instead the tracking updated to state delivery will be on 2nd Jan. this is simply unacceptable and if delivery can’t be made today then it should be prioritised first thing tomorrow. A family of 5 cannot be without such a critical appliance for another 5 days. I have called and been told there’s nothing that can be done as the system is locked and to call back tomorrow. This is simply not acceptable
Update: spoken to 3 people now across chat and on the phone. All completely unwilling to do anything other than tell me the next delivery date that the system has (which I already know because that’s when I’ve been rebooked for) interestingly the product is now out of stock, I questioned this as I’m now doubtful it’s even available and asked them to call the depot and confirm my item was there, I was told nothing is held at the depot and it would be delivered on the morning of scheduled delivery - ok then, where has the fridge freezer that was supposedly on its way to me yesterday (before they ran out of delivery time) disappeared to, surely that went back to the depot?

Hoover Cordless Cleaner Problem.
Purchased a Hoover cordless vacuum cleaner 18 months ago. It stopped picking up from carpet after eighteen months use. I was shocked to discover the connecting hose at the bottom had split. After much investigation I could only purchase a new motorised brush bar @ £73. Hoover customer services class this as wear & tear, & could offer no other help. This design of a flexing hose could cause this problem to occur & this should be considered if purchasing this design of cleaner.

Honest review on a purchased washer dryer!
First impressions, great ordered the item , came on time no problems there.
That’s where the issues started the first one we received the drum had completely detached from the machine we called curry’s and they said not there problem call hoover ( the manufacturer)which we did and they said not there problem call curry’s.
Called curry’s back they reluctantly sent another one , received the new one a week and a half later and at a glance all seemed well but the dryer didn’t work on the machine And the water couldn’t drain so another faulty machine so again we go back to curry’s and they send another (a week and a half later ) and promised us a full refund. Funny the refund was never sent, calling every other day only to be told we would have a manager call right back for 6 weeks now and still (shock) no call back.
Shocking customer service will definitely not be using again. If you receive a faulty item to begin with good luck with getting a new working one or your money back.
Currys
I went in shopping for a laptop for college and was on a budget! He was so helpful and really helped me get the best deal! His customer service was 10/10 he was so chatty and pleasant and I didn’t feel as though I was being pressured into buying anything as he just advised me on what was best.
Misleading Currys Insurance Policy
Lies and deceit of insurance policies
This is less a review and more a warning. My parents bought a washing machine from Curry's and took out the 5 year insurance policy. The machine broke down and told after having people out from Currys for a week that it could not be fixed. Now taking out a policy you think that it would be Currys just to replace the machine. But no you are told that it will take 72 hours to be sent some vouchers instead. No my parent's are disabled and struggle even to get out the house, but could still not just be sent a replacement for like for like or the price equivalent. But to be told it would be just vouchers.
After making a massive effort to travel to Currys and pick a machine. They are then told that the insurance policy that they had taken out for 5 years would just be cancelled and not be able to be transferred for the replacement machine.
The way Currys sell polices to people under a pretence and trick the old to take out a policy is disgraceful.
I am looking to make a complaint but seems like I need to call or write in.
I will make a official complaint and write the ombudsman, but be aware people when taking out a policy its not a like for like replacement service and if you pay for 5 years you will not be guaranteed that 5 years you paid for.

Second Faulty Fridge Freezer From Currys
Last year I got a Beko harvest fresh fridge freezer.It was written off at 6 months.Currys told me they couldn't find my order to process an uplift. Weeks of arguing,rudeness and stress with the help of resolver I got a Montpellier replacement.This summer it broke down.I waited 10 days for an engineer who wrote it off on Monday.Again Currys can't find my order to replace it.Ive been without cold drinks and fresh food for weeks. I have bowel disease and young children.I put a review on trustpilot and used resolver..A representative from Currys just sends a duplicate uncaring email saying it's being looked at.
Be careful who you trust with your money...customer service is below zero at Currys !
After a complaint on resolver . Yesterday Currys demand £149 for an engineer visit to check the appliance claiming now it's out of warranty. It expires in June 2025.If they're happy I will be refunded fee and given some compensation possibly.
I have an uplift I'm legally entitled a replacement.
Do not buy from currys ever !

I ordered nintendo switch bundle in December as Christmas present for my son, bundle arrived opened and used with missing parts , complaint and adviced that I will receive missing parts, waited nearly 3 months no update than I contact them again and was advised that nintendo switch bundle is out of stock so I can return order for full refund, item returned via dpd service provided by curry's on 11th March received confirmation from curry's that return received and they will refund with 3-5 days its 2 months no refund whenever I contact them they only suggest that manager will call me , where the he'll is curry's manager who supposed to call me and refund my money I call nearly everyday but same line repeat by the customer service, curry's has become bad now if I didn't receive my refund I will definitely contact online fraud team to chase curry's manager , I have all the proofs that item returned and received by curry's but still my £320 stuck with curry's.
Please think before you return as curry's not gonna refund
Curry's Worst Experience Just Before Christmas
I ordered a new iPad from Curry's and paid for next day delivery. In 18 hours I got an item delayed message then at about 24 hours an "Sorry its out of stock and there will be no more stock" email. I was asked to choose something else or cancel the order on the website. This is a gift so there is nothing else that will do so I have cancelled BUT my request has to be reviewed and if accepted my money will take at least 2 weeks to come back to my account. What am I to do for the present? I have spent my money and it won't come back in time for Christmas!!!
A good trader would have immediately returned my money as it was their fault in not having up to date inventory. I tried phoning but you can't get out of the Select One for etc etc loop and the visual assistant can't understand anything but the simplest requests that don't cover this.
I would be very careful with Curry's,I will never use them again.

Rented for a week in order to explore the area. Very modern,spotless and fully equipped. A neat garden area with quality furniture to enjoy the afternoon and evening sunshine. Private parking at the rear of the property and only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ludlow with so much history and character.

As anyone been to parkdean site we have booked a 2 week Holiday in a findhorn caravan and have been reading all the comments most of them are saying how dirty the caravans are also about the smell from the plant near the beach, can any one please advise me?
