Doesn't Let You Cancel Your Membership, So You Hav

Doesn't let you cancel your membership, so you have to contact the customer support. This is a joke.

A Dinosaur For The Modern Age

Terrible money grabbing. For anything electrical use Ebay, Ebuyer, Amazon and obviously have a good search on Google for your reviews. These all have good review forums, obviously where applicable, make sure they have had a lot of positive feedback (1000s+ preferably). It was good back in the day as a magazine, before computers, not a subscription service you can get for free elsewhere!

Which Supermarket 2013 Aldi You Must Be Joking

This is why I would not pay any attention to the Which review people, because in their opinion Aldi is the best supermarket of 2013.

If you have been to one you will know that you cannot get half of the big brands that are available in other supermarkets like Asda,Morrisons,Sainsburys and Tesco.

Aldi also offer so called deals on electricals and other goods saying that when its gone its gone,if thats the case how do they back up these products with accessories and spares.

The answer is that they can't and you will have to seek out a specialists, but you are not able to because due to company's like Aldi talking there core product base they are no longer in business.

Which have know idea about reviews and the fact that they are saying Aldi is Whis best supermarket 2013 only goes to prove it.

Which?

The subscription charge for Which? is quite high but the content available, both online and in print is extensive and of good quality. The opinions on products made by the Which? team are obviously highly regarded by manufacturers, retailers and customers because a Which? 'best buy' award is always 'trumpeted' and the product is invariably sold-out within days of the award being given. Overall, subscribing to Which? is worthwhile but subscriptions costs do need to be carefully controlled in order not to dissuade people from joining the Which? 'family'.

Electric/electronic Items

Quite often it is impossible/difficult to source models classified as best buys.

Good But Extremely Expensive

I use the reviews heavily, but the monthly subscription is making me think long and hard about cancelling. The other problem is that often the reviews get out of date, so you find the reviews are for products out of production, and the ones in the shops aren't yet reviewed.

Interaction With The Media

since the passing of your previous editor.i have not noticed

anyone taking on his high profile proactive approach to the media to

promote the Which campaigns.I think this is a must.

However what you do i think you do well and i would certainly recommend

Which to a friend

Reviews Lack A 'sustainability' Or Ethical Weighting

Generally happy with the information received but I feel some weighting should be given to the ethical stance of the company eg how it treats its staff, environmental credentials etc, and also the sustainability of the product being reviewed- recycled content, ability to be recycled, sourcing of new materials used in construction etc etc. This would put an interesting tilt on all those 'best buy' Apple products (where does the tin come from and what are the working conditions of the people/children mining it?) , to mention just one...

The Reporting Is Getting Too Biased For My Liking

I remember when I used to always consult Which before any purchase...kept all the old magazines but very rarely do this now.

My gripe is I am a computer techo and find the computer articles to be quite biased towards Apple products...yes we all know how nice touchy feely Apple products are and to give them their due most journalists use them in the print which is understandably why they always fare well. But the reality is that they are no better than a PC which is a lot cheaper to buy much more versatile for use and can be loaded with 99% of the software available in the market place today [no mention ever made of this in any articles!] I also feel what seems to be a dislike of Microsoft which comes across in your reporting...you never make comment for example that Windows is a full operating system as opposed to a Mac which is an system built to only work that machine. There are other things which rattle me is that you never test the cheap end of the market? for example there are lots of 7" tablets on the market today well below a £100 within the majority's price range and you never go near them.

I have been with Which over 20 odd years and to be honest I think its about time to part company.

Not What It Was

There are too many electric or electronic items recommended as best buys and MANY of them are no longer available. As a result, I'm thinking of cancelling.

Spray foam insulation inside of roof. Instead of replacing felt, which is deteriorating.

Good or bad idea?
