I went onto Noesis chat in 2009, intially I went into the larger chatrooms. But all it was and felt like a chat room for folk to have no strings attached physical relations. I went into a smaller room this had one one person in there. We started talking online. Eventually exchanged numbers and six months later we meet in person. It is now 2022, we have been a couple since. Happily living together. Grew closer during the Covid epidemic. I found my soulmate and have never looked back. Wasn't looking for love then and found it on Noesis chat. Which goes to prove there were decent people on the site, but they were in in majority.

There are significant issues with this site that require addressing for the safety of all those using it and potential new members.

Firstly it is very easy to sign up for without any real verification procedures. All you need is an email address, even a free disposable one is sufficient.

what this means in effect is that you are very easy to get onto the chat without others really knowing anything concrete about your identity.

Another huge issue is the number of fake profiles. Men can pretend to be women and vice versa - again no checks in place to reassure members.

One big issue is that you can include a photo - any photo can do and it doesnt even need to be you!

Overall this site is very unregulated and potentially harmful to chatters, particularly minors.

You would be well advised to think several times before registering and very hard before letting your children sign up here. it is highly unregulated, with only volunteers to oversee what is going on

I have been on Noesis chat for about nearly two and a half years. Sometimes I spoke to some most amazing and interesting people. But there was a period when my path crossed some strange people. So I choose the smaller rooms instead. I then met that man that I intend to marry and have babies with. We have been together for nearly two years and still so very happy together. I never would have believed that the man of my dreams would be found online, especially as I wasn't even looking. I am not on as much as I use to, but I will be forever in Noesis Chat debt, I found the ideal man and lets just say I'm a very fussy girl lol.

Love this site! I've used it for about 7 years now (started back when it was Lycos Chat) and have met some lovely people.... including my current girlfriend from the chat.

It's a great little community and family friendly too. The moderation is quite strict but it makes it an enjoyable place to be.

This is a brilliant website and i well recommend it. It's fun as it uses characters as bots in a ship enviroment and very popular. This Website use to belong to Yahoo then Lycos until it was bought out by Noesis as Lycos went bust. It is a completely free chat website that is used internationally and yet there is a differant website for differant countries so you don't mix with other countries and get confused with their languages.

When i say completely free you do have to pay the odds with minimal features and the exception of adds (they have to make money somehow) but you can buy special packages to get loads of new features too. They are very creative with this website as the more you chat the more you unlock new special emotes and the more you can type too. I've been on this chat 3 years now and have made alot of new friends aswell as met my partner on there which i have now been with for over 2 years.

You can start chatting there from the age of 10 onwards, However children do have a special panic button incase they need it which will alert a friendly online Navigator that they need assistance. Asssistance is always available by pressing your f2 button on the chat you will have access to any available Navigators at the time. Try it i bet you won't be disapointed.
