Totally Dissatisfied
So, disappointed with the services that I received with VIP Shaadi ! I have spent hundreds of dollars (with both Shaadi and VIP Shaddi ) and the result was zero. The consultants (only other than one who left the company while he worked with me) treated me like a number and sent me profiles without checking on my preferences. The consultants are rude and unprofessional, especially the last consultant.
I will ensure that the Indians who use the services in the United States are made aware of this. Totally dissatisfied!!!

Racist Site
I joined as I am attracted to Asian women I signed up for a month to reply to some girls. As you might know every one is different some people like thin black asian white. Any anyway I am a white guy and set up a profile. After I paid found my profile being banned their chat advise told me it was because I am not Indian this is racism. I was promised to be contacted by their refunds department as yet no one has sent me a reply to get a refund. I would say a very bad site to use.

Nice App
Really they are doing good job to help the person for searching the life partner.
Shaadi App is very good. But need to change the colour combination. .We have completed 2 years in searching a bride in our family and community. one of our uncle suggested shaadi.com to find a bride. Registered online and went to the nearest office of shaadi.com. They have explained about registration plans they have.
We have taken 6 months plan and in waiting of brides photographs. From day one they started to send us brides photographs and family details through mail. They are sending the profiles of brides by profession, income and community. And also they are calling us to discuss more about the brides.

Terrible
After you spend hours of you precious time creating you profile on shaadi.com & go thru all the pain sticking process of creating you profile; shaadi.com will put your profle on hold & ask you to upload your passport copy for your identity verification. If shaadi.com really cares for verification they should do this before anyone creates his or her profile on website. This is sheer cheating by shaadi.com to extract your personal information & hold you to ranson as long as you use their website. shaadi.com is really worse. stay away form it.
Use other sites like jeevansathi.com or bharatmatrimony who will never hold you to ransom like this.
This is a Genuine review from someone who has experienced all the three websites.

Select Shaadi Is Falsely Depicting Information For Business
So it has been exactly 8days ago when I opted for Shaadi Select and decided that the service was not for me
This company is playing hide and seek and not refunding my money
its frustrating, Not to mention the relationship owner tried to change my profile picture WITHOUT PERMISSION
IF you are a woman or a mother. Do not use Select Shaadi Services . The people I spoke to are Ashish pandey and Subha Mukadam
Both of these people will take your money and not return it

Beware International Scams/fraudulent Profiles
Shaadi.com has some really good profiles too but there are fraudulent profiles as well, whose only intent is to prey on you.
This is a cautionary note Shaadi.com members about the scale and extent. Fradulent profiles are being being created(and I mean paid members) whose only intention is to prey and victimize unsuspecting candidates and lure them to part with their finances by providing fake stories. Unfortunately these are not one person crimes rather are organized crimes(involving multiple accomplices) and on international scale.
Wouldn’t want anyone to go through the harrowing experience of being scammed. So proceed with caution and follow the guidelines and tips for such online interaction matrimony sites.
Shadi .com Is A Fraudulent Website-beware
I REGISTERED MYSELF AS A NON PAID MEMBERSHIP ON SHADI.COM. ONE DAY , ONE LADY EMPLOYEE OF SHADI.COM CALLED ME FROM THEIR ERNAKULAM OFFICE AND TOLD ME THAT YOU CAN REGISTER AS A SELECT SHADI MEMBER BY PAYING RS.13,300/- FOR A MEMBERSHIP PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS. IN THE 3 MONTHS PERIOD, YOU WILL BE ASSISTED BY A RELATIONSHIP MANAGER WHO WILL SEARCH AND CONTACT PROFILES OF YOUR CHOICE AND ACCORDING TO YOUR PREFERENCES. AFTER 3 MONTHS, IF YOU DO NOT GET A SUITABLE MATCH, YOU WILL BE REPAID THE FULL AMOUNT WITHOUT ANY DEDUCTION AND WITHOUT ANY CONDITION. AFTER 3 MONTHS NOTHING HAPPENED AND WHEN I ASKED MY MONEY BACK, THEY WERE TELLING THAT SINCE YOU HAVE ACCEPTED SOME PROFILES, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND.
MY EXPERIENCE, RATHER ENCOUNTERS WITH PEOPLE ON THE WEBSITE WAS HORRIBLE AND FRIGHTENING. IT IS A DANGEROUS WEBSITE WHERE FINANCIAL FRAUDS TAKE PLACE. MONEY LAUNDERERS, WHO ARE MOSTLY BASED IN NIGERIA AND OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES, OTHER FOREIGNERS, ARE ALSO REGISTERED IN THIS WEBSITE, AND THEY EVEN COME DOWN TO YOUR PLACE TO MEET YOU. AFTER COMING DOWN, THEY WILL MAKE PLOTS, TELL YOU STORIES AND TAKE YOUR MONEY. SOME PEOPLE JUST WANT TO CHAT OVER THE PHONE OR THROUGH THE WEBSITE ITSELF AND IS LOOKING FOR PHYSICAL RELATIONSHIP ONLY. SOME OTHERS ARE THERE FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING, AND THEY TRAP WOMEN GENERALLY. SOME PEOPLE SEND OBSCENE PHOTOS TO YOUR MAIL ID OR MOBILE PHONE BY CREATING FAKE EMAIL IDS FOR THEMSELVES.
EVEN MEN DO HAVE SUCH EXPERIENCES OF FRAUDSTER WOMEN COMING DOWN TO MEET THEM AND ROBBING THEM OF THEIR MONEY.
SO NEVER TAKE A MEMBERSHIP ON SHADI.COM
Swindled off my money and asked for unwarranted very private personal information.
Beware people! I'm from Australia. Shaadi.com is an organisation that has defrauded me off my money! I made the mistake of opening up a trial membership with them. After that staff from Shaadi.com incessantly harassed me through emails and other communication to buy a membership through them. I buckled under the pressure after a while and bought a 3 month subscription. Approximately 1.5 months into my membership term my membership was cancelled without any notice and without any reason or notification provided to me. When I enquired over Live Chat on the Shaadi.com website as to the reason why my paid subscription had been cancelled I was given no reason other than its our policy that we can require personal information from customers whenever we want. I was asked to provide a photocopy of my passport, driver's license, proof of work and where I work (payslips) and photocopies of my degrees. I was horrified at the prospect of sending my private details to a dating organisation who had no legal requirement to request such information. Concerned for my privacy and my identity being stolen, I refused to provide Shaadi.com such very private details. Shaadi.com already had my phone number, credit card information and my pictures on their database - they had absolutely no need to ask for my private information. It is none of their business where I work, how much I earn, what passport I have, my residency status or where I live. Request for such information is a breach of privacy and for all I know could lead to identity theft. I explained to the consultant that Identity theft is rife all over the world. In Australia, the authorities routinely discourage Australian Citizens to send any personal information to anyone online including photocopies of our passport, driver's license or photocopies of our degrees or employment information. The consultant would not accept my opinion. I asked him for a refund for the remaining term but he refused to reimburse my subscription monies for the unused portion of my membership on the grounds that if I do not provide my private information as requested then it is Shaadi.com policy not to refund the remaining subscription fees. Since my complaint to Shaadi.com I have found the internet to be littered with complaints similar to mine. I do not know why Shaadi.com is allowed to conduct business as their activities are against ethical and fair practice. I have found Shaadi.com to have engaged in unscrupulous and fraudulent activities when dealing with me as a customer. They have essentially betrayed my trust and swindled me off my money! I would strongly advise other innocent people to reconsider doing business with Shaadi.com. To say that I am disappointed in Shaadi.com is an understatement!
I 100% agree with the above comments. Not only that they are one of the most difficult dating web site to use .

People Can Hide Their Profiles !
The good points are that they have a chat system and that one party has to pay and the other can read free messages. However the bad points ive noticed are that im getting 'supposed' interests from very wealthy guys with very good qualification such as doctor and younger than me (im female) and when i go in i see that i have to express the interest!!! and also the ONLY good prospects that are interested in me i go to check their profiles and they have chosen to hide their profiles straight away which leads me to think that it is a scam, because why would someone be intrested in you and then hide their profile lol? surely they want to communicate with you?!!
Read This Carefully. I Have Been Using It For Many
Read this carefully. I have been using it for many years, and absolutely no result came out. Over the few years I have paid for 3 months membership several times. When I was on free membership, or expired paid membership often I receive some interest from some profile that looks decent, and attractive. I accepted the interest. And the other person sent no further communication, then you feel compelled to write and take the interest further. So I pay the membership money just for the sake of sending out that email. And guess what as soon as you pay for the membership and are able to send emails, the profile who sent you the interest just disappears! So the conclusion is shaadi.com makes fake profiles and send interests to people with free profile who can be potentially good victims. To hook you on paying for membership! Once you pay then you realize the interest was fake, all it meant was to make me pay for membership.
i agree, i have had similiar experiences, i have never paid but get really good men handsome rich etc but then i cannot read their profiles as they suddenly hide them! why would they hide them lol
