User Reviews
Totally Misleading
The profiles are so generic, no way is it an exclusive special interests dating website for peeps who like rock music. This is obviously some common database that companies can buy into and put their brand on it. Lots of fake profiles also - I was winked at and liked before I even had put a photo up - go me!
I Can't believe Planet Rock are still advertising it and pushing it with their brand.
Looking at the reviews there is obviously a demand for a rock n' roll dating website, just wish someone would service it properly.
“planet Rock Dating” ***avoid At All Costs***
The fact that “Planet Rock Radio” is still relentlessly advertising their pathetic take on a so called dating site is absolutely disgusting, and I have to instantly switch over when I hear it. If you think you’re signing up to communicate with “real human beings” who also listen to similar music, I have news for you, you aren’t. Reams of fake profiles and yet more reams of fake profiles. You will be strung along without even realising it, just like the other rubbish out there.
I think there should be strict regulation for these sites after the misery they can cause people, some of whom are lonely and vulnerable. I emailed Planet Rock questioning them about these issues, their use of fake profiles, chat bots, etc. but they didn’t even dignify me with a response.
Absolutely disgusting.
Show some responsibility Planet Rock.
I would strongly urge anyone tempted to sign up to “Planet Rock Dating” NOT TO. It’s another rogue site polished up to look good and make money out of you.
Take your time and research legitimate dating sites elsewhere that are well reviewed by genuine people. Preferably sites that are 100% free. There are some out there.
OMG.. I'm definitely not signing up for this site if there are unrealistic illiterates out there looking for a fantasy cartoon image of a woman that belongs on the side of a panel van!! Oh my days.
Yer. Planet Rock like you l thought l might find my own Pattie smith!!!! Or Suzie qutro!!...fat chance!! Instead it nice looking middle class ladys in evening gowns sparkling hand bags holding glasses of proseco!! What thexxxxx! They are probably the ones who run this company and the government such as it is is just as bad for not takeing action! Sadly not the first. Time I've been had by them. My advice is all ways read terms if the last bit reveals the name ventro white label. Or hubpeople get the hell out and don't look back!!!!

Planet Rock Dating. Avoid
I joined planet rock dating, as I love the genre and wanted to find like minded women. As a basic member you can't read or reply to messages. Cost to upgrade? £37 (about $50), which is steep to say the least.
The profiles are PAINFULLY fake, many with one photo, and generic messages sent to the user.
Those that aren't fake, are utter time wasters. I had a conversation, at length, with a woman who just wanted tips on how to start a band. What a joke!

Planet Rock Dating - Just Don't Bother
As a female subscriber, I joined hoping to find someone likeminded, but the restrictions and nanny state policies imposed by the site (Global Personals) make it impossible to communicate with other members. I wondered why there were so many winks - now I know why - all messages are prechecked by the support team - anything even remotely even hinting at a little innuendo is blocked! Don't even try to write a diary entry about how your pics are rejected because you're wearing a tshirt! I've seen men showing more flesh on their profile pics than little old me in a t shirt! The site is a complete joke. Nanny state policies - they treat members like nursery school kids! It's supposed to be a dating site, not a convent! They're quick to take your money, and only then do you realise you can't message people or write a diary about anything other than the weather, or what you had for tea because of the vetting system. Jeez - I'm 49 - I think I know how to talk to people and don't need a Global Personals chaperone! Planet Rock Radio should be downright ashamed of putting their brand to this complete and utter waste of time and money.
I've been looking into the Planet Rock dating site after I quickly withdrew from 'Zoosk' for exactly the same reasons. As a male I thought I might have better luck with Planet Rock Dating but I couldn't find a single review other than someone mentioning that it was a 'White Label Site' i.e. including profiles from other sites such as 'PoF', which made me suspicious. So thank you for MicahJenkins for putting this review up, I won't be going anywhere NEAR Planet Rock Dating now.
All we want is to be able to communicate properly with genuine people without being patronised. Is this too much to ask...?!

Mature Match, Part Of White Label Dating
I originally joined as a basic, free member. It was free to send messages, but I soon realised that I would have to pay £25 to be able to actually read incoming messages for one month as a full member. I then realised that being a “full” member was not enough, and I paid another £5 so that ladies could reply to my sent messages without them having to be fully paid-up members. I rushed into paying before I was ready to because I could see that a very attractive lady was trying to contact me, and we could not read or reply to each other's messages!
I did meet up with this nice lady, but the day after I got a “sorry, we are not suited” message. My quite amusing but very honest, detailed profile should have told the lady what I was like, but Mature Match had mistakenly removed it for about five days! So she was not too know, and no sour grapes from me as far as she is concerned! I sent about four messages to the website about my missing profile and eventually got it published again and an apology – but no offer of compensation or extra full membership time to cover my lost days.
Another gripe: When I originally signed up, after entering my profile (as a copy and paste), I was then prompted to type an introduction. There was not much guidance about what this entailed so I just typed, 'I will fill this in later', and then found that this was sent to all the prospective ladies on the site! With a bit more information, I would have just clicked the “skip this until later” link. Useless as it was, my introduction seemed to get sent to ladies outside my age, height and distance requirements, judging by the replies I received. At least, I had managed to copy and paste my previously prepared profile text, but most users are not in a position to do that and their new membership gets widely announced before they have had a chance to get their profile ready!
Another gripe: I was only looking for ladies in my area, but I noticed an unusually large number of ladies living in Harpurhey and Cheetham Hill in Manchester, and in Heeley, Sheffield. I think that there is a bug in the system because my own Stockport SK11 postcode had placed me in Cheetham Hill, but luckily I noticed it and corrected my town to Macclesfield. A lot of people seem not to notice this bug unfortunately.
White Label Dating obviously has various dating website brand names and the profiles are pooled between the sites. I noticed one lady who had about eight profiles – I hope that she had paid for no more than one!
I suspect that most of the ladies' profiles that I saw on the site were actually genuine, but I am also sure that many of the ladies were snapped up a long time ago, and found it difficult to remove their profiles. I would guess that less than 20% of the ladies were currently active on the site, and that most profiles, although originally genuine, are now dormant or historic.
To take advantage of my paid subscription I messaged about 20 ladies, usually one a day. Although I was one of the very few men in the area whose photo and messages bore a “reply to this member for free” icon, I only got one reply, and that was to say she had just met someone! I am not unattractive and I certainly got a fair number of unsolicited messages from ladies who were out of my area or age range, but only that one response to my own (well worded) messages.
I will continue looking for a nice lady, but I will stick to using major free dating sites. Plenty Of Fish, they say?

I found this as was looking for sites for parents with special needs and looked fine until I logged in the men on there are the same as on single 24/7 . Its disgusting as these parents are very vulnerable and just led into deception which is cruel as it is twice as hard to meet someone. I am disgusted will cancel subscription with singles 24/7.

Planet Rock Dating
Yet another of white label datings sites. You'd think being named Planet rock dating and advertised on the Planet rock radio station that this might be worth a shot. Sadly, it is just another trick. I signed up for free and received numerous views and messages which I couldn't view without subscribing. What do you do?!? I stumped up for a 3 month subscription. That was a mistake! I went through my messages to realise that most of them were simply welcome messages from new users that haven't even viewed my profile. There were a couple of genuine messages too, so I replied. Both of these girls chatted for a little while. One then left the site and the other just stopped responding for no apparent reason. I've been on other dating sites (PoF and Match) and the way this played out just felt very odd and I very much suspect that they were messaging to make me think the site was worth while so I didn't cancel my payment. Since then, my profile has had pretty much zero views and the site is basically dead. Big change to how it was when I hadn't paid!!!
If you're single and lonely, these vultures are ready to abuse your pain and in the end, they just make you feel worse about yourself when all of the fake accounts ignore your messages. They charge you a fair amount of money to make you feel worthless as well!! Steer well clear!! Find free dating sites. Google is your friend! I'm on Altscene now (Alternative style people site as I'm a bloke with long hair, hence thinking Planet rock might be a winner) and I get replies to at least 80% of the messages I send and it's 100% free. Compare that to Planet rock dating! Match is slightly better than Planet rock dating, but only a slightly!

Wouldn't Even Recommend To My Worst Enemy
I am new to my area and thought, ok, maybe I'll try it. I should have known to pay $15 just to check a bunch of bogus messages not sent by the actual members, then to be told you have to pay for added services. What a ripoff, I went for bbw dating and constantly got emails for people looking for folks wanting partners interested in paranormal activities. Add that when I tried to cancel my membership and delete my profile, you can't do it and they keep sending you messages. Terrible, save your money or something else. They'll probably charge me to get my own damn picture back.

What A Rip Off, Stay Away If You Have Any Sense
I recently went onto one of whitelabel dating sites, what a racket, all sorts of women wanting to know you, but to reply you had to subscribe,"that's alright, nothing wrong with that",. Nearly everyone I messaged couldn't respond ,because unfortunately " their filter settings excluded me". How convenient.STAYAWAY an absolute rip off, they are also known as naughtyfunover50/60 don't go near them,it's all fake
Q&A
Can you recommend ip which I can use on the website to make it work, I've tried several coudln't get through.
