There are still some pretty great people on this site but over the years that has become less and less of the case.

In my opinion the site has really lost what made it 'individual' and stand out among other 'social' oriented sites. When it began it was a place for intelligent conversation, underground music from 'the scene', and interaction.

Now it seems like it's sold out to the 'brand'. Anyone that is a paid member can basically buy their way into showing a complete lack of manners to anyone. This didn't used to be the case with the site. I have been a loyal member of this website for years and will be leaving it soon.

If I want to watch drama queens act all nonsense and mods do nothing about it I can do that for free on many other countless social sites out there.

There are things I will miss about VF because as I said there are some really amazing people I've met thanks to the site. But it's time to jump this ship before it sinks. Most of the people I've met already left long before I am.

There's a sense that if you're not from U.S.A;"We" will be nastier to you;the end.It needs way too much improvement in the "manners" department.I wouldn't recommend it to anyone;unless they feel like being overdominated and insulted;from as much of what I could gather.The picture displaying is pathetic and blurry even if you have a premium membership;it's not much of an improvement.

i ordered a dress and 2 bows on the website and i payed for the shipping that was supposed to be delivered in 14-20 days . got it in 4 days and im not even living in the US.

the quality is great, the dress is as heavy (a normal heavy ) as a really good dress you would boy in a store, it's sewn proprely, fits really perfectly and is pure lovely

there are alot of clearences on the website (not my type of thing but there is alot of choice ) the prices are kind of expensive but, at least you can be sure that anything from the mark Voodo Viven is really great .

These people ban a nice fun loving guy (that people like in these chatrooms and even say its boring without me) over stupid things. Yet emo little punk kids can flame and troll anyone without punishment? Wheres the justice there? I suggest a overhaul of these poor excuses for website administrators or vampirefreaks.com may sink. and ill be the one to sink it.There are a million other sites i can take other cool people and leave your wasteland to rot in the hell it deserves. Good luck in the future you lame, poor, horrible freaks. I am taking your customers/users elsewhere. Watch me if you think i am lying.

I joined because I'm an internet personality and my style is on the dark side. After playing around with the navigation of the site I started joining "cults" that I was invited to. I got called "ignorant" because I told a cult owner I wasn't interested in the group anymore because I thought the application was silly. Being on this website is no different than playing a role playing game. If you're looking to get to know someone with some normalcy this isn't the place. Most of these people are "odd" or out for a good time. The professionalism of the staff isn't any better as well. Just read their terms and conditions. All in all if you don't have a life or you want to pretend you have one join Vampire Freaks.

The navigation on this site is next to impossible. Photo uploading is extremely slow. It is difficult to change or alter your profile; you're supposed to use CSS stylesheets, but even that format goes erratically wrong in their pages.

Admins create fake accounts to make it look like more people use the site than actually do. I have also observed admins using fake accounts to attack users on the forums: ie using their own account and two or three fake accounts to "gang up on" a person and engage in bullying behavior. It is important for admins to be objective and professional in dealing with issues. These admins are in their 30's but have forgotten to leave the high school mentality behind.

All in all, the worst site out there.

I can't stand social networking sites that are lackadaisical about fake profiles, but ADMINS posting fake profiles? Insane.

When I first joined vampirefreaks.com, I had no clue what to expect. I saw the word "cult" and was almost scared. I was thirteen at the time. I then deleted the account after a week. A few years later I was on my computer wondering if the site still existed and there it was! I created an account and decided to try it out again. Cult was just another word for a group. It just goes with the site's theme of vampire freaks. I haven't had any trouble with the admins on the site.

When you first join the site, it seems a mess, but it's really good actually. As a free member you get a couple of ads. But I don't remember any annoying pop ups. I became a premium member and the adds were gone. The wonderful thing about premium memberships is that you can pay for them with money or with points. That's what I loved. The site rewards you for being active.

Overall, I really like this site. From the radio, store, message boards to the cults, customization pages, and easy point gaining. Try it out for one week, and you'll like it. If you don't, you can leave.

VF is an amazing site i recomend it to everyone that i know. I love being on the site and have been there since 03 just on 4 different accounts now. I have been both a fee member and premium so i know what to expect with both types of accounts and i love how the site is running. The site runs fast and smoothly. And they get new ideas a lot so it changes from time to time. They have a radio and cults that you can join so you can meet people that are like you. You can learn skills that can help you later on in life as well.
