A Nice Enticer Allows You To Win Your Bid At A Rea

A nice enticer allows you to win your bid at a really cheap price, lulling you into a false sense of achievement for hitting bid at exactly the right time. After that, the seconds go up and up and up and up, meaning you use more of your bids for none of the items. Terrible. Would never use it again, or other similar sites - nor would I recommend it, not even to my enemies

DO NOT USE !!!

I read all the reviews and tried to be as certain as I could be about the facts about this site. I knew it was a gamble to actualy get anything, but one I decided to take. what I did not expect was the site to stop me from purchasing more bids half way through! I spent £200 so far and wanted more to continue. (I know, Stupid!) each time I tried to buy just £25 worth it would not not let me, I hade to buy £50 or more for the site to work! I should have realised at this point it was rubbish! I anyway I carried on and tried to buy a second £125. three times I put in all my card details and went though the VISA varificaton and then got an error screen telling me it page could not continue. whatever that means. i gave up as there was no indication as to whether I was actually buying bids or not.

I emailed swoopy customer service, although this seems to be a Joke department! I asked what had happened and was told my bank kept declining my card. my bank when I spoke to them had no knowlage that any payment had been requested let alone declined. the emails kept going, they refused to admit any problem with their website, refused to give me a phone number, refused to look into it any more, refused any request to have a senior manager deal with it, they did give me the head office address if I wish to complain but refused to give me a contact/department to write to.

I may or may not have won the item, but to be stopped half way through by a technical problem on their website is almost criminal, I wasted £200 for nothing as I ended up with no chance of winning anything.

The attitude of these people is disgusting.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!!

I've Used Various Penny Auction Websites And Some

I've used various penny auction websites and some are good and some are bad. I found Swoopo to be one of thw worst. Honestly, I won a couple of products which was good and it was a cheap price even when you take into account the cost of bids...I made a saving! But delivery was rubbish, customer services was even worse and ultimately one of the products arrived damaged. So I made a good saving but it most certainly wasn't worth the hassle. I won't be using them again...ever!!

Try To Register A Username On Swoopo That Contains

Try to register a username on Swoopo that contains any uppercase characters and your registered username will be all lowercase characters. Be suspicious of bidders who have usernames containing uppercase characters because they did not go through the normal registration process. Try it yourself, your username will be all lowercase. Be suspicious.

Dangerous! Stay Away! I Have Been A Member Of Sw

Dangerous! Stay away! I have been a member of Swoopo for a while and have had nothing but a bad experience. Basically you buy bids at 50p, when you bid on something the price increments by 1p and a timer resets for 10-20s, in this time other people can bid. A good TV generally goes for around £400, which might sound good, but it means it took 40,000 penny bids to get it to £400, at 50p a bid, Swoopo have made a staggering £20,000!! The trouble is your bids will soon become exhausted, and honsetly I think someone sits at Swoopo just clicking away, increasing the bid count which costs them nothing. You try and outbid them at 50p a bid and lose a fortune, never to win anything! The only time I won something, it was out of stock, when I asked for a refund they refunded me the price of the auction, but not the cost of the bids I had spent on winning the item. Eventually I got sick of Swoopo, wrote to customer services asking to close my account and credit my 51 bids that I had remaining (£25.50) and they refused.

Take it from someone who is experienced...STAY AWAY!

Oh, I Can See Some People Give Swoopo 5*...have A

oh, I can see some people give swoopo 5*...have a feeling it's someone related to the website itself...

Must admit I have never tried "swoopo" and must confess that I never will do...

For a start, it could be good if you "win" something, but what happens if you don't win? Well, you lose money and time...Sad...

It works like gambling - you put money in and you hope for a big win, and as more you put as more confident you are that "your big win" is just next door...

No, I would not even try it, though I am desperate for a new camera...tough...

ebay forever!

If You're Looking To Buy Something New, Definitely

If you're looking to buy something new, definitely try Swoopo first. You have the chance to win it for up to 90% off the retail price, and even if you don't win, you can buy it as normal and not lose any money. How is Swoopo not bigger than ebay yet?? Would reccommend Swoopo to anyone!
