The company completely ignores complaints. The camera I received was faulty, but the company doesn't return calls and ignores emails.

Make sure you really want to buy the item before you commit as there is no effective returns policy.

Only scored one star because without a score the review is not accepted.

Ordered a camera just before Christmas (a Panasonic Fz72). Next day delivery was advertised but shortly after placing the order I received a phone call to tell me that they were out of stock of that particular camera. However, I was told' that they were taking delivery of new stock the next day and that I would receive my order the following day before 1.00 pm and true to promise it arrived at 9.30 am. The camera was just as advertised and considerably cheaper than I could find it anywhere else. Very impressive!

A very nice man helped me through some of the questions I had before I bought this camera and I was very pleased when it arrived at 8.45 am the following morning, nicely packaged. This is a Christmas present, so I don't know how it will be, but everything looks great and I'm sure it will be a hit. I was very pleased with my experience with this company and would certainly recommend them.

Just what I wanted. Telephoned to check that the camera was in stock and ten minutes later we were still chatting, it was like being in a real shop! Camera arrived on time and the price was great. First time I had used Buyacamera but it won't be the last.

This means you don't get the UK warranty & offers as advertised on the camera manufacturers websites, despite Buy a camera using links to the UK websites on their own website for full specs, very misleading, they should be upfront if they are not UK models

Despite complaints to them the compensation offered was poor and the response very slow!

Excellent customer service and delivery within 23 hours of online ordering - despite UKMail's website saying that delivery would be delayed from the Friday to the following Monday.

I purchased a Fuji HS50 camera last week from 'buyacamera' via their internet site, it was the keenest price that I could find. I telephoned first and spoke with an adviser who reassured me that the item would be delivered direct to me by the following day. Prompt e-mail advice was subsequently provided to confirm my order and all delivery details. I telephoned the designated courier 'DPD' the following morning with the code provided and was given a precise 1 hour slot for delivery. The camera arrived exactly on time 15 minutes into the hour given all in less than 24 hours from order time. Every person I dealt with during the transaction from the adviser at Buyacamera through the courier staff at DPD and their delivery driver was perfectly pleasant helpful and all information provided was accurate. The service that I have received was exemplary throughout and I am most happy to have done business with 'Buyacamera'. I shall have no hesitation in making future purchases from this supplier.
