Be Aware

Just don't buy from DABS, if they send you a faulty item then you gonna be stuck with it and fobbed off. I still have my faulty board and out of pocket and no one wants to help. Be aware! Very bad customer service.

Simply The Worst

The worst retailer I have ever dealt with. Despite what the website claims, items are rarely in stock. Support is non-existent, after months of trying to arrange a simple return I ended up performing a charge back with the credit card company.

Horrible buying experience.

I purchased a phone from this company, it was the wrong colour even though the invoice stated it was black and after a brief phone call was offered £20 credit to my account if I kept the phone the credit never arrived.

Should Have Trust Reviews Before Going On And Ordering

Went on their site ordered and then so all of the bad reviews, I thought this might have been just few unhappy persons but after dealing with them, I would say the same as other, avoid.

Order cancelled as no one is able to provide me with an ETA on stock arrival, seems that customer support is having more time to laugh in the office than actually have a courteous call with you (felt as if that lady just wanted me to go away so that she could join the fun with her colleagues)

Terrible Customer Service - To Be Avoided!

I found the voucher code on their own website which for £40 online that didn't work so I contacted customer support on the 14th to ask for help. After 2 days they replied saying that they have none to give and there were no plans to release a new one. Therefore on the 16th I bought my laptop, then on the 18th I saw they had voucher codes on there website for the exact same amount of £40.

I therefore contacted customer support via e-mail explaining that I thought it was very bad practice to lie to a customer just to earn an extra £40. Although they admitted that they could understand how I felt they said they wouldn't do anything. I then called them because I found it ridiculous and very bad practice to customers. I was told the same thing as I was told in the e-mail so I asked to speak to a manager to which the answer of course was "he is busy". I then requested a call back on my number to which he assured me would happen. However as you can guess I still haven't received any call from them (going on 2 days now)

This is a terrible way to run a company, it seems they are all about short term gain rather than getting a good reputation and gaining a long term repeat customer.

I have two good friends that were also looking to purchase laptops from this company and now they said that they will be looking elsewhere if this is how customers are to be treated.

If you have bought a faulty item from Dabs.com, they are far from interested you returning it to them. They will try prolong any effort to return for a refund by not emailing you the information you require and ignoring emails altogether. Their website states that "If your goods become faulty after delivery, we will always instruct you to contact the manufacturer directly for a warranty repair or replacement.". And yet the obligation by law is on the seller to remedy, not the buyer.

Very Bad Service

Very unhappy with this company. I have purchased a Seagate 6TB hard drive, which turned out to faulty or non-genuine! Instead of 6TB it only showed 400GB, as well as the hard drive did not have any trademark logos and was shipped by a third-party company, which lead me to the conclusion it was not a genuine product.

In response to this I contacted Dabs many times, via emails and phone calls. The customer service kept on giving excuses and several emails were ignored. The customer service seemed to have no idea about their work. The refund took several weeks to be sorted as the customer service kept on saying the transaction has been made and was successful, however after 2 weeks one of the customer service representative said the transaction has failed.

Which made me question if the representatives prior were all lying to me.

Very bad service. Definitely not making any purchases with this company in the future.

Consider if the price is worth, for the bad service you will risk getting in return.

Amazing Attitude.

I purchased an Android computer from Dabs before Christmas but it was not what was wanted as a present. I asked to return the item, not a problem. They arranged collection which I paid for, fair enough. I realised after it had been collected I had put the computer in the wrong box, it all fitted fine but it was really a box for a 21" monitor. I rang Dabs expecting them to say it would be returned and I would have to repack it in the correct box or post the correct box to them. Not a problem, they will repack it. You would not get such help from many many other computer stores. I will use them again.

No Game Codes.

Bought an EVGA GTX 970 from dabs with a promotion that said I would receive a game code for Assassins Creed Unity within 24 hours. It has been over 48 hours now and nothing. The customer service team are unprofessional and have told me simply that "Duncan who has the game codes is not in the office until monday". Sorry Dabs, not my problem.

If you want to buy from a website with prompt service, don't go to Dabs.

If you want to be treated politely and have your complaints seen to, don't go to Dabs.

Take you business elsewhere.

I would have liked to have known that I was going to have to wait 120 hours for my game codes before I purchased so I would have been able to buy elsewhere.
