I have used Hamiltone (www.hamiltone.co.uk) a few times for goods and they've always been reasonably cheap for stuff that you know you want.

What is shocking, is the level of customer service. If you get the owner to even look up from his PC and acknowledge you then you're very fortunate. Woe betide you if you try and return things. £20 + VAT re-stocking fee (conveniently not mentioned on the website) for any unwanted goods, even if you want to pay more for an alternative.

I stumbled onto Hamiltone.co.uk and have been back for quite a few bits of kit. So far, there hasn't been a single screw-up on their part. I got technical advice from Dave on SATA RAID controllers that proved to be really useful. When there was a delay on getting disks, they actually phoned to tell me what was happening. Can you imagine Dabs or Overclockers doing that?
