Pre-order An Item, Pay For It, But Don't Expect To Receive I
I preordered two items from the Wayland Games website 10 days before their release date. There were no initial issues. The website allowed me to preorder, I paid for the items there and then. All good so far and happily waiting for the release date.
4 days later I received an email to inform me that despite being able to preorder and despite having already paid my money, one of the items from the order would never be in stock with Wayland due to a limited release and that they had given me store credit instead. A brief apology and store credit for the value of the item I would now not receive. You would have thought that anticipated stock levels would have been known and that if you had paid for an item you would receive it? Possibly this was a one off, an excusable issue with one particular item? Obviously not..
...3 days after the release date, I was awaiting delivery of the 2nd item from my order. I decided to send an email to enquire if it had been dispatched. To my surprise I received a reply stating that unfortunately they would have no stock of this item for a further 3 weeks after the release date! They did not send me an email to state this, I only found this out after sending them an email myself. It is unacceptable that you can pre-order an item, pay over your money then be left to chase up where the item is days after the release date, only to find out it has been delayed!
There was no offer of compensation for the delays and issues with this order. I eventually managed to convert the store credit to a refund on the first item, and now await, with not much confidence, the delayed delivery of the 2nd item. Customer support offered quick but dismissive responses and offered no suggestions to rectify the issues, instead blaming suppliers and manufacturers.
Avoid this site if you want to receive the items you have ordered and paid for. This is a clear case of misleading customers. I will never use them again and there are plenty of alternatives out there offering similar products at similar prices. Avoid.

I have had several orders worth several hundred pounds each delayed for months (causing me to miss some events despite ordering 4 months in advance.. missed birthday gifts for people, prizes etc. )
Thought the first time was just bad luck - but its just a bad company.
There customer support is equally awful .. IF u can get a response it's just untrue . . . "Will be with u next week" said for 2 months going...
And I'd only get them to engage me like that by commenting publicly on their FB or twitter.
I feel a responsibility to warn every single person against using then in the gaming community.

Long Wait Times, Lack Of Savings, Rubbish Service, Oh My!
After waiting 2 months for my order, and having it still not dispatched, I contacted waylandgames about my complaint (This was my third time contacting them about this) And they offered to change one of my items they did not have in stock , despite this item having '2 in stock' at the time of my order. After this, i asked to cancel my second order, as both items in this were not in stock, they agreed.
The next day, i looked to find the first order canceled, and the requested order still pending, despite me giving them the code of the order AND items (PIP numbers and names) within the order, due to this it could take 'several days' to put my order through again.. Despite the items being in stock, and them having the order less than 24 hours ago.
They don't handle stock anymore, and are simply a third party ordering system, that can't handle requests and have a customer service that cannot understand basic English, and responds in a cold non-personal manner that left me feeling like I was speaking to an automation.
A final kick in the teeth, is after all this, after looking around I found their prices on other sites for the items I was after, and in fact worked out I had LOST money by going to Waylandgames. Well done lads!
Well done lads, keep up the great work! Next time I feel like being treated like a number, being ripped off, and being kept waiting.. I will come right back!

Worst Company I Have Ever Dealt With. Avoid!
Ive spent over a grand in the last moth or so Ive bought from Maelstrom gaming and from Wayland games twice each. Both times I was disgusted how bad they dealt with my order. It took weeks , no replies, hang up on me, didnt inform me and took my money and still messed up my order plus having things in stock on live stock levels then deciding they dont have it in dont tell me but take my money. Maelstrom took nearly £50 from a £120 order charged me and sent me half an order. Called them over 50-60 times nothing . Emailed them threatened legal action nothing. Ive played for years but stopped for about 7 years ago then got back into Warmachine/Hordes and a few other game systems and not had much luck with sellers up until I found Hellfire Gaming Industries and Triple Helix which are great and would recommend to anyone, great service, quick delivery, great prices and very friendly and helpful. Its a damn shame when people get shafted by companies that just dont care. Another note is I noticed hundreds of their prices RRP is way to high to make you think your saving more money...Your NOT! They are lying to make you think your getting a great deal. Simply disgusting. Search around as theres a few decent stores still out there that are top end service this isnt even close to good. AVOID!

They Take Your Money And Sit On It - All Delays And No Comms
I order 2 tabletop games from Waylandgames, both showed in stock at time of order. payment was made by paypal (over £100) and was taken straight away. I waited for the best part of a week and heard nothing.
I sent a e-ticket, waited 24hrs to be told items not in stock, they would be in stock and would be sent the end of that week or the beginning of next week.
I Waited until middle of the following week still nothing, sent another e-ticket just to be told, it's still not in stock, no apology, no times scales, just contact them again if I want to remove it from the order.
Warning, save yourself time and purchase elsewhere
