He said it was like Renaware, the expensive Swiss brand of a few years ago. But it's not Swiss at all. He had a card with an e-mail address that bounces back as non-existent. I was out. He told my wife that he was dropping the price from £300 to £200. The credit card machine said "300 euros" and she didn't think. £262. We're going to throw it away.

Somebody came to my house saying he was Swiss, with what looked like beautiful cookware in his boot. He said he'd been at an expo in the local city and he didn't want to take the display stuff home. I bought his cookware, and he said he was charging Euros, not sterling - but this was a lie. He over-charged me, and when I checked the saucepans, one is damaged. I googled the company and it's a front for this sort of door to door selling.

I was a complete chump - not usually like that - however, he came to my house (where I feel safe); he looked legitimate, he had a business card, and his goods looked high quality. Was completely swindled and feel utterly foolish. I know better than this, but my guard was down.

I am writing this review in case anybody else googles before they buy!
