Good Service Despite Some Problems With Lg 47lm670t
Bought LG 47LM670T a couple of months ago
Good points in order of importance:
HD picture, connectivity, smart apps, smart looks.
Bad points in order of importance:
Had problems with recording (DVR) which eventually got solved & problem is common to other makes (not just lG), poor SD picture, voice sync delay when connected to amp, intermittent sound loss, very reflective screen.
Had great communication with Brian Whyte who agreed to return it for a full refund which I have now received.
Thus very happy with the communication & service.
Bought a Panasonic 50" plasma as a replacement which resolved most of these issues.

Phantom Samsung Tv Avert
Wanted to purchase a 60" samsung smart tv,spotted ROBERT WHYTES web site showing the very one 60" samsung smart tv £2919 + 5 year guarantee tried to purchase item on their web site with no success,(VENDOR REJECTED CARD)strange I thoght as my bank security system had cleared the transation.So to purchase the tv I popped into shop to be told THEY DO NOT SELL THIS SIZE MODEL NOR CAN THEY OBTAIN IT,then the usual ploy would you like to purchase a 55" returned from a customer who returned it because the box was tatty !!I think the fact the tv is on offer on their web site is a ploy to deceive.I think I`ve had a lucky escape after reading about this company on other forums

As Per Other Reviews, Cheapest Prices But Take Money Without Stock.
This was the 2nd time I'd shopped with Robert Whyte based on their price. Both times followed the same pattern. Money was taken from my card immediately and then I didn't hear anything further. I had to phone them after 3 days to be told that they were struggling to get stock (so why take the money and advertise prices online?). I never received any contact from them and after several calls from me, and over 2 weeks later, I had to cancel my order and get my money back. The one thing I will say in their favour is that they have refunded me both times without any hassle but I do get the impression they're funding their business using other people's money!

I noted three very poor reviews on Google. My experience was very good, they acted very professionally. They only slight 'blip' was trying to contact them by phone, they seemed awfully busy. They did respond when I left messages but I found contact by emailthe best method.
Great price, free warranty & 2 pairs of 3D glasses, what more could you want?

bought a blu-ray player with a 5 year warranty .stopped working after 3 years.emailed and phoned several times to be told we will get back to you.they never do.dont be fooled with there 5 year warranty.i would never buy anything off them again
I purchased a Samsung LCD TV and Bluray package just over 3 years ago with 5yr warranty. After a year and a half the bezel started showing lots of flaws as if it was cracking internally. Robert Whyte were a nightmare to get through to and were totally disinterested! They tried fobbing me off by asking if I had the orginal paperwork (I read that some people never received this paperwork and RW made it very difficult for them to get it and follow through the claim). Luckily I found mine and phoned them back. They fobbed me off onto Samsung eventually....who denied there was an issue with bezel flaws (Googling it brought up many cases...and cases were people had them replaced by Samsung) and they did not cover cosmetic problems!
The BD-P1500 bluray player seemd fine until I tried to update the firmware...I have tried doing via CD and USB stick...but nothing happens...I tried connecting into broadband router/modem via LAN, but cannot get a connection. As it stands, I can't rent/play latest bluray DVDs, because the player has a problem being that it is old firmware!!!
I am considering contacting RW about this...but suspect I will be in for a 'head banging' sessionbased on previous experience.
I would not buy anything else from Robert Whytes
I had the same problems with this company,I put my tv in for repair under their five year warranty and after a year I went to trading standards then the small claims court.I won the case but this has soured me from going to a small local company.they might have a great deal with the five year waranty but its not worth the paper its written on.

Their prices look good, but they don't actually stock anything. They take payment when they have no intention of sending your order and it took me months to get my money back, spoke to the manager on the phone and he was the rudest person I think i've ever had to speak to.
God knows how this company is still going when there are so many decent retailers around

Searched For The Cheapestsamsung Ue46b8000 Online
Searched for the cheapestSamsung UE46B8000 online and Robert White were by far the cheapest.
However after ordering online and having money taken instantly I have been told the item is not in stock and they cannot tell me when it will be in stock.
Some two weeks later and £2000 lighter I have no TV and have been told if I want my money back it will take 7 days why? Barclay card told me they should not have taken money without having the item in stock!
Also they do not reply to emails!!
Avoid this company!!!!
