Poor Packaging Damaged Dying Flowers

The first Appleyard bouquet was left in the communal lobby of the flats. I found the box on 24/12/23 and it may have been there up to 12 hours. Badly packed with no protection to the blooms or moistened material round the stems. Ratio of blooms to "padding" was very poor. Lilies pushed hard against cardboard damaged and brown. Roses already faded with petals peeling off.

I sent a photo to Appleyard who promised a replacement bouquet after the New Year.

This was delivered to the door 03/01/24 and the ratio of blooms to padding was better. Lilies again badly damaged, roses dried out, daisies heads falling off. I sent another photo. The few remaining stems had all gone over completely by 06/01/24

They offered to reimburse my young relation, working abroad, who had arranged for the bouquet as a Christmas present. I did not want him to know of my disappointment so asked them not to. service from the Appleyard office was swift and courteous. One hopes they do something about the dreaful packaging and how fresh the blooms are. There bore no resemblance in quality or quantity to those on theie website I will not use this company when there are so many good ones.

Horrendous

This is a nightmare company, don't be tempted.

Flowers arrived dead and broken, no one to speak to, live chat isn't live, only dead bots.

They use yodel !! Smashed up box delivered too, yodel say contact appleyard, appleyard don't give you the chance.

Unfortunately I subscribed to get benefits !!! Lost that money too,as I'd never, ever use them again.

If you don't want my experience JUST DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE

HORRENDOUS

Utterly Dreadful Flower Company

Utterly dreadful. Avoid at all costs. Spent £50 on a bunch of flowers which i could have got fof £5 in the local petrol station. Dead after a few days. No style, sent in a brown box, no frills. Unhelpful customer service, Received credit after complaining for them to only take my credit away and give me no explanation why. The worst flower service i have ever used. Please do not use them.

Undelivered Items And No Response From Appleyard

I ordered a cheese and wine gift hamper for my Dad for Christmas and it did not arrive. Tracking said that it had been delivered but nothing arrived. We checked with neighbours and nobody had seen anything. I contacted Appleyard through the 100% happiness guarantee and have not had a response in over a week. I want my money back from non-delivery of goods.

Worst Product. Worst Customer Service...truly Dissapointing

Tesco will be a better option

Tesco will be a better option. I embarrassed myself with the flowerrs I sent to my friend, my only gift for her...which got in a terible condition. Braked and just a few flowers ... no conection with what they display in the website.

The interesting part came after I contact them...for a week and they didn't let any of my complaints on the website.

Someone came back to me after a week offering me a £10 voucher....like I will ever risk to buy from them.

Terrible Company - Do Not Use!

Ordered a package of flowers and prosecco for my sister for her birthday (costing £40). Due to arrive on her birthday and does not arrive, despite saying it has been delivered online. Ring up Appleyard to help, then informed that my sister will have to ring them as the delivery is in her name, despite me having ordered and payed for this and that it's supposed to be a surprise. Since then I have been frequently contacting Appleyard for help - I have payed £40 for this order - and received no help. Company will take your money and not deliver.

Appalling Product. Shoddy Service. Uncaring Attitude

Appallingly poor quality flowers. All dead on arrival to my 90 year old mother on Mothering Sunday. On raising this issue the company asked me to get her to email a picture of them. (She has a camera that uses film developed at Boots!). I travelled 40 miles to apologise to her and take a picture of the 5 dead roses that cost me £50.

After an online conversation with Deli whose use of English was confusing I was promised a 'prompt' replacement. I had to contact the company several times when nothing seemed to be happening. Only after threatening to contact the CEO did the replacement flowers arrive five days after Mothering Sunday. This flowers died after 3 days. As compenstion I was offered free delivery of flowers for a year! Free delivery of an inferior product does not seem just. I asked for the company to send a 'snailmail' letter to my mother apologising for the lamentable product and service. They said that was not their policy.

Do NOT use this company. So lacking in many realms.

No Tracking Info. No Guaranteed Delivery.

I placed an order with Appleyard, and selected a named delivery date, but they didn't take my email address and so I had no tracking information. When I contacted them to ask if the hamper had been delivered, they said that even though I had a named delivery day, the order can take up to 2 days after the named delivery date to be delivered! They then said they were unable to give me tracking information. I asked for a cancellation and a refund and as if by magic, a tracking reference was produced. There was no delivery address on the tracking form though, so I have no way of knowing if it was even delivered to the right place. It wasn't a cheap delivery, so I'm not happy at all and will never use them again.

Poor Service

I ordered a bouquet as part of a surprise for a special occasion and paid extra to have it delivered in the morning. I received an email saying it had been despatched on the morning of delivery but it had not arrived by lunchtime. I got in touch to be informed that it had not been despatched and they offered to send it the next day which was obviously too late for the surprise party!

They said there was no way they could deliver the same day and offered me £10 credit as an apology which is just a way of making a profit from their mistake which is pretty sneaky.

Really disappointing experience from an untrustworthy company.
