Never Use This Website!
The website doesn't work as they show all products available and very few of them are. I placed and order and I have been waiting for more that a week, so I decide to call to understand what happened.
They told me that send an email that never got suggesting me two different products. while talking at the phone I check online and the product I was looking was available so I suggest them to update the website to avoid disappointment with further customer and the answer i got is THAT IS THE WAY OUR BUSINESS WORKS
the lady on the phone was really rude, I gave an advice in a nice way but she was extremely impolite!

Poor buggers get slammed by half a dozen reviews and everyone thinks they can't be trusted. In contrast to them I found that Kiki James provided a good service and the item arrived as expected.
I bought the large leather black photo album for £99.
Call them on the number on their website to check if they have the stock. They have friendly staff based in Hazelmere to the SE of London.
I wanted to write this review to add balance to the previous negative reviews.

Will Not Use Again
I ordered a personalised leather passport holder online. Although the order was confirmed the next working day, 9 days later I had not heard from them for confirmation of dispatch so I e-mailed asking for an update.
Afer 48 hours and no response I tried to call them during the opening times listed on my confirmation email only to find that they are only open 9am-5pm.(Fair enough but get the correct details on your emails).
I then called the next day and although the lady was apologetic and offered to follow up she did not want to take my number can call me back. A week later and guess what...nothing had arrived and no confirmation e-mail of dispatch. I then sent a further mail advising that I was going to ask my bank to process a chargeback dispute for 'non receipt of goods'. Today I have finally received as confirmation of dispatch but no apology or contatct. I have yet to receive the goods which were a Birthday present which is now rather late...
A shoddy service as far as I am concerned. If you are going to order goods on-line you have to provide an efficient and orderly service. I will never use KikiJames again and will certainly make sure friends and fammily don't either. I too wish I had seen these reviews before I had used the site!!

Do Not Buy At Kiki James
I wish I had seen all these negatives comments before ordering 3 Wedding Photo Albums at Kiki James!!! DO NOT buy at Kiki James they are thieves!!!I did order 2 white photo albums and 1 blue one all done with the bloomsbury leather and all with personalized embossing. Upon arrival I realized that the 2 white ones where good but the embossing on the blue one had a tigered effect like if one had scratched the gold letters. I did call them the next day to see what could be done which was a Thursday, did call again on the Friday but still no one could do anything, finally got a call on Monday that I would have to send the album at my cost which is unaceptable if you are being delivered poor quality. After so much arguing I did agree to leave it at the Aspinal shop in London where they called me back after 72 hours saying that the quality was fine and they would do nothing about it. I wouldn't complain so much if I didnt have the white photo albums to compare it with as they looked great, but the blue lookes terrible. They don't even advise on the product page and the only thing stated is " Each photo album can also be personalised through our traditional embossing techniques. Because of the grain on these leather photo albums we would recommend that customers choose either silver or gold personalisation for the best results." If this is your best result they can give you, do not do embossing at all it's terrible!! The only picture showing personalisation is beautiful on a white photo album and this doesnt reflect the quality you'll get!! You are better off paying Smythson quality and having a perfect result!!
Needless to say that their staff has been unefficient and rude throught all this process and I am now stuck with a horrible blue photo album with a scratched gold embossing. Avoid at all cost!!!!

Worst Online Shopping Experience!
I purchased a Christening Leather Photo Album (£100) at Kiki James online that I requested to be personalised with two lines of embossed text (at a further cost of £25).
The order confirmation I received by email explained the item was out of stock and suggested an alternative from their range. I agreed to the replacement.
The corrected order confirmation arrived with the price misquoted. Upon contacting Customer Services they admitted to their mistake and corrected the product price, offering me free delivery & handling.
The album was dispatched two days later. Unfortunately upon receiving the product I noticed it had not personalised as requested, despite the full order having been fully charged to my credit card (!).
I contacted Customer Services again, who suggested I should return it by post at my own expense despite the issue having clearly been a new mistake at their end. Upon my refusal they agreed to collect the album from the original delivery address to emboss and return it to me within 24h.
The courier turned up the next day to collect the item but no further production or delivery news from Kiki James ensued. After 72h I contacted Customer Services again to request an explanation. I was assured the album would be couriered to me within 24h.
Despite calls and emails to Kiki James Customer Service Department, I have to date no confirmation of re-delivery and my money has not been refunded. A full blown THEFT!

I made a purchase from Kiki James before I read the reviews posted here and I can tell you I was worried.
I needn't have been. The wallet I bought was of good quality and so too were the embossed initials. The website, although a little slow ( which could have been down to the time of day ) was well presented and payment was straight forward. I received the wallet, which was excellently packaged, in good time and had no problems whatsoever. I scored them max on customer services even though I had no need to contact them as I figured not having to contact customer services is in fact excellent customer services. All in all one of my more pleasurable, stress free internet purchases ( and I've made a few ) and a company I would quite happily recommend.

Never Use This Company. Unprofessional, Just Shody!
Ordered a wallet and purse for Christmas presents. After a week there was no sign of order. I sent three emails over three days that they still havent had the curtesy to reply to so I had to sit on hold for 10mins before speaking to anyone. When the phone was eventually answered I was told I had to listen and that answering the phone wasn't her only tasks - she had personal tasks to attend to. After i picked my jaw back up - i requested a manager to phone me. Guess what.... Still waiting.
When items arrived they did not look as good as website. I had personalised initials on stuff and it lookwd as if they had tipexed it on. Wish I had gone elsewhere as items not cheap.

I Ordered A Leather Wallet From Kiki James And Aft
I ordered a leather wallet from Kiki James and after a few days and the order still pending I rang customer service to be told that the wallet had been deemed of poor quality and they would not be sending it...however I was offered a sightly more expensive one from Aspinal of London at the same price and it duly arrived in 2 days the quality was excellent and the young man called Ross from Aspinal was efficient, courteous and informative so perhaps the comments from an early reviewer about Aspinal's doing their utmost to rectify things is valid

I Wish I Had Read These Reviews Last Year! I Order
I wish i had read these reviews last year! I ordered 3 albums from this company last September. Like other people's reports, I was told they were in stock and then was sent an e-mail telling me they weren't. After numerous e-mail and calls, I eventually received the albums on Friday. They are really bad - not worth the money I spent on them, leaking ink all over the pages, 'luxury' presentation boxes both broken...I am really upset. I called Kiki James to tell them on Friday and they told me someone would be in contact with me soon about it but needless to say I am still waiting..... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... EVER

I Finally Got Through On The Customer Help Line To
I finally got through on the customer help line today.
Kiki James has been taken over by Aspinal of London following a court case. Apparently, KJ was operated by an AoL employee and was knocking off AoL designs using lower grade materials. Aspinal appear to be working hard to preserve good will (at least my experience was good) but are also extinguishing lower quality KJ lines that compete with their own.
I say it is worth making the phone call although you have to persist with the call-waiting messages to get through.
