Amazingly Quick Turnround

I found some jewellery I never wore and sent off for the envelope. Such a simple process! The money was in my bank the day after and was more than I ever expected. highly recommended.

I Wouldn't Recommend Using This Company

I chose them because they send you a prepaid insured post bag to send your jewellery in and as far as I could tell don't charge for paying money into your account unlike the other company I was looking at. But it wasn't worth it because their valuation was a third of what the other company were offering! They were telling me that my 14ct gold was 9ct! And when I checked I still should have received more for 9ct what they were going to pay. I requested it back but they were still calling me the next day. Thankfully I received all my items back after speaking to them again. Sent it all somewhere else where I had to pay for postage myself but got a lot more for my gold and silver!

I used cashforyourgold. You can check what your gold is worth at the time before you send it.

Go Local - I Got £100+ More

I sent off a large amount of solid 18 ct gold and - upon reading previous reviews about the first offer normally being low - was met with a ~£400 offer. J declined, and was advised they would speak to a manager and get back to me.

I got a call later advising they could give me £650 for it. I declined again and the gold was returned to me the following week.

I went to a local gold and diamond jewellers and today for £730 cash.

I would recommend that anyon using PGfC have some whites done locally, and be aware that the first offer they give you could be a lowball one.

Poor, Poor, Poor

£60, is all I got for gold ring, with diamonds set in platinum and plain gold wedding ring. Feel such an idiot.

Lost Item

I declined to accept their offer and asked for my items to be returned. Of the 10 items I sent, only 9 have been returned. I have tried ringing but was so fed up of waiting to speak to a customer services adviser, I sent an email but have not had a response.

Don't send your gold to this company, you may not get it all back if you decide not to accept their offer!

Price Offered

Sent 17.3 g of 18ct gold bracelets and smaller amount of 9ct. They rang back next day with an offer of £67, which I told them was ridiculous as 18ct gold was advertised as over £20 per g on internet. They told me that internet prices were always too high. I requested gold to be returned to me. They rang back 2 days later with an offer of £375, and then accepted my counter offer of £400. The money was in my Bank within 24 hours.

They basically tried to cheat me, but once they realized I knew the value of bracelets they were ok. Recommend you get local Jeweller to weigh your gold before you send it, so you can calculate approx value before despatch.

Being Tricked Over The Phone ,do Not Sell Gold To Them!!!

I have sent over 40g of 20ct gold to them, and first thing they offered me 170 pound!!! I was so confused why the price is so low ,so i was very hesitated over the phone, the staff asked me about how much i would like to sell, I wasnt so sure at the time, I should have study the scrap gold price first. So they offer me 225 at the end and it actual worth more than 1000 of my gold. So i quickly phone back within 2 mins, the staff used term & condition to shut me off by saying, I have signed and agreed the offer ,it is irrevocable. They used my desperation to trick me into this scam. Be aware!! Read other people's review first before you sell anything to them!!

Don't Trust Them

I sold my broken gold through them and should have reviewed them first. They offered me much less than the gold was worth which I accepted. And even when a phoned back a few minutes later would not cancel it. They are thieving money grabbers if given the chance.
