Avoid this company! I was sold this as a complete fresh grocery delivery service by a farmers choice agent and signed up to direct debit. Very quickly many of the items I need every week (bread, milk, eggs) were postcode restricted and not available to me. Many of the items arrived damaged or unusable, including part defrosted meat. Now they have raised the minimum delivery charge, and instead of being able to choose veg they do grocery boxes of things I don’t want to order. I have £1000 in my account that they refuse to return.

I have over £300 with them. I could not use website and cancelled standing order hoping to get my money back. They won't give it back because of GDP !!! Apparently they can not find my records, Because of a interval of time they are entitled to take my money

I suspect this company may not last much longer, sadly they are having trouble fulfilling any orders and appear to be struggling. No contact with anybody for several days and a strict policy of NO REFUNDS, not even after death. Don't put your loved ones through this, it's just not worth it. Use a good local butcher.

First issue - I was advised that the shopping would be about £100. It then became £10 more. It was then changed to another £10 more with no change to the order.....i.e. they have held onto too much money & made me feel they felt they could charge what they want. The whole process to get to the right amount was shambolic - offering boxes that were unavailable, boxes not showing all contents when added to an order etc....so I wasted hours of my time getting all of their errors and stock outs resolved. It should have been a simple process to self serve and check out. They don't care about their customers at all - no apology was made and they were rude.

Second issue - even though I hadn't received a formal dispatch notification - I was in all day as I needed this order. No one knocked on the door or called. No delivery slip was left. If they did actually dispatch the order - no delivery was ever made or found. I have since had to buy additional goods as these did not arrive. This was my third order - there was also a major delivery issue with the first so they obviously have problems with their delivery company.

Basically - I have been overcharged for a delivery that never came

My husband held an account with this company and he recently passed away.

A balance of over £640 is on the account but Farmers Choice won't refund, apparently I have to take in goods. As the account is in my husbands name, not mine, this isn't legal and I don't want to use this company. Their treatment of someone recently widowed is appalling.

Don't use Farmers Choice!!

Totally delighted I found this on-line shopping website which delivers nationwide. The delicious high quality freerange/organic produce I get from Farmer's Choice has revitalised my cooking and greatly extended my repetoir of recipes.

For adherents of 'Nose to Tail Eating' then this is the place to shop as the extensive range of meat, poultry, game and offal is certainly far superior to the dreary, boring, and limited range available from supermarkets. This includes "old-fashioned" and "unfashionable" cuts that I remember my parents buying 30 years ago, items my local butcher is unable to get for me, as well as numerous cuts I had never even heard of before. Additionally, this family run business also offers a selection of fish and seafood, vegetables fruit and salad items. The majority of items are available in a choice of weights and sizes and there is also an array of pre-selected items available as meat boxes.

I was confident I would not be disappointed, having read the customer reviews and other information on the Farmer's Choice website, which is easy to navigate and use. Additionally, the staff are friendly, courteous, willing, and extremely helpful and can be contacted by phone,

e-mail and fax.

I have had 3 orders delivered to date, all have been confirmed in advance by e-mail and delivered on time by courier. All have been extremely well packed in recyclable, compostable, biodegradable materials, and each item blast frozen in minimal packaging, meaning you can get more in your freezer. I have not been disappointed by any of the 26 different items I have ordered to date.

I opted for the direct debit monthly payment scheme rather than the pay as you go option. This entitles me to free delivery on my orders, plus a price freeze for 12 months, making it easy to budget and plan ahead.

All in all a suberb shopping experience. This is now the only site I use for on-line grocery shopping, so give it a try, you won't be disappointed either.

Superb little family run company, who genuinely do care about you the customer! They deliver straight to your door, Sublime Free Range Meat products and lots of scrumptious Fish too.

Fresh fruit and vegetables can also be delivered by courteous drivers who are always happy to help.

Ordering is easy, website easy to navigate I cannot fault them.
