Beware: Selling Short Dated Stock

Terrible place to shop. Almost everything I purchased had a Best Before End date of less than 3 months. The longest date was 7 months. It’s normally around 2 years on these products. I send several emails which have been ignored. Very disappointed!

I Have Never Received My Order! Avoid At All Cost!!!

I ordered over £150 worth of goods and never received them.

When I asked them where was my shipping, they said it was delivered to me long time ago. I told them I never got anything and I asked them for a trackng number so I can inquire with the shipping company they simply ignored my request.

I put a 1 star review on trustpilot (I thought trustpilot was trustable) they replied publicy that I used a fraudulent paiement method that is why they never sent me my products. Few days later I saw hundreds of 5 stars rating on truspilot about them... 

my advice : Do not order from them.

Ignorant And Unresponsive

I placed an order and entered my email as it said I would get 10% off the order and as it was a reasonable size it was kind of worth it. Paid and noticed the 10% was not taken off. Emailed and was told that the 10% is not off the first order as promised but they would send a 10% off code in about 2 weeks!

I cancelled the order and 2 days later they shipped it to me so it was rejected as cancelled and now they will not answer my email or issue a refund.

They leave me to take matters into my own hands to recover the funds.

My advice would be to search for other Thai retailers online as I have found one with great service and they are much cheaper also who I will use all the time now. Avoid these guys as they are ignorant and simply ignore customers.

Damaged Goods - No Customer Service

Do not buy from this company - they do not wrap the food they send properly and 5 out of 6 coconut cans they sent to me where dented which are of course is dangerous as dents in cans raise risk of botulism - a deadly form of food poisoning that attacks the nervous system. I tried calling the company but their phone is out of service (another bad sign of their professionalism). WhenI emailed them, I received this email: "Sorry to hear that. You can return it back to the address below for a full refund..." ...so rather than give me a full refund for the cans they are expecting me to go to the post office and incur more expense and chase them by email mind you for a refund? Another reviewer has already complained about them not refunding them for damaged goods returned. Worse, do they plan to resell these dented cans to a less informed customer about botulism. It's not the money but the principal - I ordered online for convenience and this is far from it.

Terrible. Avoid At All Costs!

6 items ordered and 3 were not delivered. Payment for the 6 items was taken and the company has repeatedly ignored my requests for a refund for the other items. From (retrospectively!) reading the reviews this seems to be very common practice.

Terrible.

I ordered on a Tuesday with Express delivery. Lots of fresh herbs and vegetables. I live in Portugal, was in the UK for 4 days and was looking forward to the goodies !

Received parcel on Thursday morning. Great, but once opened disaster. Half was missing and the rest was thrown away, wet and black on leaves. Mouldy and black on corn and aubergines. Tears in my throat. Pay Pal does not want to hear from you and supermarket even less. I'm terribly frustrated and annoyed as Thai food is inexistent in south Portugal. The dry galangal was ok. I lost a bit more than 30 Pounds and won't be able to cook Thai for a while !

Omg - Avoid At All Costs Is My Advice.

Due to time restraints we thought we would give this company a try and save time, the total order of £79.46 was placed and we paid for express delivery with explicit instructions for receiving the parcel.

The order arrived eight days later in a weak broken cardboard box and the Parcel Force chap complaining due to his van smelling of fish sauce!! We opened the sodden box and need I say the contents were destroyed, upon close inspection of contents we noticed several items were charged and not in the box, we noticed items in the box and they have charged way over.

I called them several times and due to no answer started sending emails she did send a one line response to my detailed email that said money would be refunded!

I have since sent several more emails, made many attempts to call and nothing, I have been patient and allowed them two extra weeks just in case they are very, very busy but nothing.

Today I have started a case against them and will wait to see the outcome.

My advice is stay well clear of these people! Not good at all.

Exactly the same happened to me. Missing food .Mouldy and black stains on fresh food(which was thrown away) I had paid for express delivery and received 2 days later. so so annoyed, paid 36.72 Pounds and cannot get money back. October 2017

Avoid

No delivery of items ordered by express post (supposedly two day delivery) after 14 days. No answer to many phone calls. No answer to numerous emails. This company used to be quite good but in the last year has become not only unreliable, but uncontactable. I have arranged with Paypal for my £13.25 to be refunded & will never use 'Thai Food Online' again.

Use This Company At Peril And Expense

I bought 2 durian fruit, total £60, paid for express delivery. First delivery didn't arrive, I tried to call, no answer and they won't allow you to leave a message. I tried emailing, no answer twice. The only response I got was when I raised a dispute with PayPal. They blackmailed me by saying they will send it again and refund my delivery only if I closed the dispute (that then means PayPal will not re-investigate the dispute further and not reopen it). I closed the dispute thinking I would get my items plus my refund. I am yet to receive either. I now have no means of contact (as above) and I doubt this will get resolved. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. you WILL NOT get your purchases. My initial purchase was on7th July it's now 30th July and I'm still waiting for my express delivery! Btw if you are crazy enough to buy from this company do it via PayPal the only communication I had was via them, I guess because PayPal will withdraw payment so WHEN you have to open a dispute via PayPal DO NOT close the dispute until you have the product in your hand. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Unless you want to throw your money away!
