Worst Place Of Trade
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
I was searching online to buy items for my business and I ended up buying an item from here which cost me £409.
They said they would contact me to arrange for a delivery when instead, I had to call them after 6 days to get this done.
When the item arrived, I was not happy and I immediately called up the company to return the item. They then started being difficult and told me they would be deducting from my refund. First they said £91, then they said £191 and as you can see in the email, they said £203.
With each illegal deduction; goes against consumer protection rights act 2000 (distant selling), they would ask me 'Do you still want to proceed with the refund?' Which is their scare tactic to make you otherwise.
When I told them what they were doing is illegal and wrong, they then turned hostile over the phone and started being unprofessional; even cutting the call on me.
I will never use this trader ever again and I hope you all don't make the same mistake I did.

Professional Company With Helpful Staff
Excellent service from start to finish. Visited their showroom in Leicester with the intention of replacing just my styling chairs however ended up doing the entire salon!
I would advice anyone buying from them to visit the showroom. All the rooms are themed and give you some really good inspiration!
The lady who took my order in the showroom was very helpful. It was busy on the Monday I went but I was not rushed.
Furniture arrived on time. Slight issue with one chairs but was resolved very quickly.
Love how my salon looks and my clients are so impressed.

A Very Happy Barber
I ordered 5 of the Bravo Barbers chairs from Living It Up Salon, the customer service was great, the chairs arrived within the delivery timescale no problems and the tan chairs looks amazing with the wooden floor and units in my shop, I am really pleased. The design and quality of the chair is great and they are really competitively priced!
It was great to be able to look at all of the products in the showroom and try out the chairs, I will be coming back to order a waiting sofa and reception desk soon and I would definitely recommend this company.

Ordered 3 barber chairs online, tried to phone them and left a voicemail to try and change the order to only 1 chair immediately after I placed it and never heard back from them and they proceeded to deliver 3 chairs. Received the chairs which are very poor quality and unfit for use due to the small and unstable base and foot rest. It is not possible to safely or comfortably lean someone back in the chair and therefore cannot be used professionally. Contacted them via email straight away and never heard back. Rang them and they claimed they do not except returns and refused to be cooperative. Pointed out the chairs are unfit for use and not safe and currently still waiting to hear back from them after they then said they charge a rediculous "restocking" fee. I even offered to drive to Leicester and return them in person. Appointing a solicitor to try and get my money back before having to do it through a small claims court as they were so uncooperative towards myself.
Customer service is horrendous. They are rude and do not get back to you. Their policy on returns is very unclear and unreasonable. The chairs are flimsy and I would not recommend the item or company to anyone.

We have checked the notes on your order and we cannot find any record of a voicemail asking to change your order from three chairs to one. All of our incoming and outgoing calls are recorded and, the only call we have found from the number you provided on your order was on Tuesday 4th January and no message was left. This is the first that we've heard that you had wanted to change your order to one chair, our delivery team contacted you on the 5th January to arrange delivery and you accepted the date that was offered with no request to make any changes to your order. If you had requested for the order to be changed then this would have been arranged for you - the customer has the right to cancel or change their order any time before delivery.
We do not accept that the chairs that you have ordered are of poor quality. The chair sizes and measurements are all on the website, and we have a showroom which is open to customers to help them ascertain if the chairs are suitable for the purpose for which they are required for. In your case, we believe that your larger customers did not feel stable in the chair in the fully reclined position for a wet shave. We have asked for images/videos of the issue of the unstable base but to date have not received any. We have not declined your offer to come and return the chairs to our warehouse, but we are not willing to completely waive the restocking fee.
Since you initially complained about your chairs, we have reviewed our returns policy. When your order was placed we stated on our terms that we will not accept a return for a item that is correctly supplied, we have now changed this to offer the customer the opportunity to return items subject to the restocking fee, plus delivery and collections costs.
We are not sure why you feel our customer service is horrendous, as we have already explained to you previously your initial email was received in a unreadable format and was sent to our spam folder. All other emails have been responded to the next working day.

I returned a barbar chair in the same condition it was delivered and packed it in the same way it had come even though there was no instructions enclosed, apparently they don't provide instructions. However, the chair had been damaged in transit, and they are deducting the money from my refund! This has been going on through emails since august, it is now December. I called the head office to speak to the manager who failed to call me back, and had tried to ignore me through a telephone conversation. When I called again the girl I was speaking to was very rude and I felt even more angry and frustrated with the situation. One very unhappy customer

I ordered some new Barber chairs for our salon, our old ones were getting a bit shabby. I found living it up on Google and they were the cheapest around. The staff were really helpful and delivery was fast! The chairs are great we love them! Thanks!

We ordered a set of the Harrison barber chairs as they were the cheaper than other places. A friend had recommended living it up as they used them to fit their new salon. The delivery was smooth and the chairs are great quality. Would use again!

Do Not Waste Your Time!!
We've had an absolute nightmare ongoing for the past 2 months. We have had 3 Harrison barber chairs delivered and sent back as they have all been scratched, dented and the black rubber on the bottom of the chair has been broken on delivery. We have had to postpone our opening date for the barbershop for over 7-8 weeks. I have been told I am not allowed another delivery of a 4th barber chair to see if that's fit for purpose. The customer service has been appalling with no apologies, I've just spoke to the manager who is meant to be representing the business and she did not conduct herself in a professional manner, and suggested we left it there, which leaves me with barber chairs or refund to purchase chairs elsewhere. I now have to wait 2 weeks for the chairs to be collected by a courier and then the refund will be put back on my card 3 working days after they receive the chairs back. That's another month or so delay for the shop, and that's before purchasing new chairs, cheers guys!

I would of liked to buy the towel shelves,but at £20 each to ship them to one place is a little over the top.I had a large painting shipped from Italy for less
