Enjoyed completing my course, my favourite part was getting to do nail art and the acrylic. I think it’ll be easier with priority+ as it took a while completing the questions without knowing what one’s were wrong. However, I recommend this to anyone who wants to do nails. And it’s such a good price for what you get. There is so much detail in the work books which was super helpful in regards if you didn’t know anything about nails before. The support with my tutor was great aswell and they are always there to help. Will defiantly be purchasing another course in the future.

Absolutely horrible. I booked onto the Full Nail technician course pre lockdown, I was contacted just before lockdown that the course would have to be cancelled due to lack of staff and that I would be contacted again to reschedule.

Lockdown came into effect and understandable all Business were to be closed as stated by the government.

After lockdown I tried several times to rebook onto this course at the Kings cross branch, just a few days before the course I would get an email to say the course has been cancelled. I did this a few times and each time the same thing happened and the course was cancelled, not good especially if you have to book leave to attend these classes.

I called and sent Next step beauty emails requesting a refund as it had been 2years and I still hadn’t been able to book onto this course.

Since then they have tried to persuade me to join their online class which is not suitable for me as I learn best in a classroom environment.

I choose to attend the classroom classes because all the equipment was provided for you while you trained with NSB. However, with the online classes there are no materials provided yet the course is still the same price and considered “an upgrade”

Today the company emailed me stating that because I have accessed the online portal (without completing any courses) and signed the terms and agreement they will not issue me a refund.

Why must I be bullied into completing an online course when my learning boundaries do not allow me to do so?

Next step beauty are not able to offer the course I paid for and for the past 2years have cancelled my course several times.

Stay away from this company, they are sham.

Takes the money for classroom courses which are then cancelled. Refuses to give a refund which is in breach of their own terms and conditions. Will not speak on the phone so is a Keyboard Warrior. I will be filing a Court Claim so he will have a CCJ.

Booked a classroom based course with next step beauty, as soon as they have your money they cancel the course and try to hide behind the terms and conditions. Please do not use this company, they will be closed down within a year and you will lose your money

No assistance, Absolutely no flexibility.... No organisation .... They just want to taka money ... it was a terrible experience for me !

No words describe the stress these people caused me. They are making people's lives a misery and being allowed to continue is an insult. It is just awful the lot of them aren't in prison.

I would love to see them shut down and made to pay for the stress they cause people.

Next Step Beauty is run by one person out of a trading estate in Norwich. They supposedly offer classroom courses across the country. You are lured into signing up for the courses in the city of your choice. In fact they don't offer any classroom based courses at all, but use a legal loophole to lure you in. If you are unaware, they will say to you by clicking on the online course material, you have entered into a contract, which effectively cancels your claim to any refund. However, do NOT be afraid to challenge this guy, and your consumer rights are fully protected.

If you have already been lured into this trap, do NOT hesitate to contact Trading Standards or Citizen Advice Bureau. They will guide you on how to take the Next Step Beauty to court. I am shocked that they are still in business as they have been doing this for many years. But I understand they are on the relevant authorities' radar.

They trick you by getting you to pay for the Practical course but there isn't a course running for the date you book. They end up cancelling the date that you booked and delay or change the date or swift you to online course.

The representative said that they will send me the venue address for the 3 days Practical nail technician course in Swindon by email after I paid for the course for £354.

They then trick you to click a certain link to access supposedly online course material by email. I also realised that there was no venue address provided within the link, there were no material tools or anything online that I could use or learn with.

I have to call this company to ask for a venue address but they keep delaying and fail to provide this for me.

They said they will not refund the money because they claimed that I had clicked onto the link and used their online material which wasnt there...

This incident is exactly what has happened to many other victims on the bad reviews for how and what those victims described in 'google' and 'reviews.io' and 'uktrustpilot'.

I now realise it was a big trick for me to fall into and that when I clicked into the link, logged in by the student ID and password they provided that it was all a sham.

They won't refund me because they are claiming I used their materials - Therefore they have said that a refund is not effective for the contract. ?

I paid to be on a Practical course which I now see is not legit. This is illegal for what they sell and to not provide the right service to people is terrible. They have tricked many people into this situation.

I seriously feel so disgraceful by this and truly feel so sorry for the many victims out there and myself.

The money that I have paid them did not give me any service and they didn't provide any Practical course. There was no teacher or venue address provide.

Ever since I received this email I have not clicked onto any links because I feel like they have threatened me by saying I used their online material (which I did not as they were not available to use online). There is no nail varnish or any other nail products.

This can ruin people's future. They use this beauty course to lie to many people in the UK. They use automated email to response and keep accusing you with the online contract to make you fed up to claim your money back.

AVOID this company!! they hardly ever had a course available in my area and when they did they cancelled on 4 different occasions.refused to give me any money back and were less than helpful. stay away !

Do NOT I REPEAT DO NOT use this company. They will refuse to handle the situation let alone give you your money back. My suggestion would be to use a completely different company altogether as this company is more hassle than good. They continually cancel your courses with only a matter of days notice whilst offering you an alternative that’s miles away knowing it’s more than likely you’ll be able to get there. I signed up for the complete nail technician course. My course was cancelled 3 times with only a matter of days notice, on the fourth try it so happened there was a death in the family a day before (death very obtained ) which left my mum in a state of no return. I explained this to the so called director who may I add was extremely rude bearing in mind the circumstances and was only willing to have me complete the full thing online. He was not willing to move me onto the next available course as it had been done previously for the last 3 TIMES and hung up the phone. As a business owner his actions were horrendous for someone who was meant to be in a managerial position. All they care about is the money it’s not even the quality of training given it’s literally just to get your money. Companies who pride themselves on the delivery of their services would act accordingly and as it seems there are a lot more people who have suffered at the hands of NEXT STEP BEAUTY. Beware and stay clear of them, there are other companies offering the same service with better people heading and leading their classes. If your looking for unreliability and disappointment then NEXT STEP BEAUTY IS RIGHT FOR YOU. If you don’t want to be let down and would like to obtain your certificates in a TIMELY manner then look elsewhere.
