Delivered Only Half A Bed

An appalling and uncaring company to deal with. They only delivered half a bed and then I am having to chase them up to find out when the rest of the order will be honoured. All they keep doing is offering their 'apologies' and who needs that when you have guests sleeping on a mattress on the floor?!!! I suppose if I order a bed from a 'superstore' this is what I should expect. Don't bother - deal with a small company who can offer a decent service.

Wouldn't Recommend To Anyone

The worst customer service, I bought a mattress which has been faulty and they will only replace it with the same one (likely to be faulty again) or a cheaper option. And I have to pay for them to remove to faulty mattress as if it's my fault?!

Will never use them again, what a waste of time and money.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

I am devastated! My little boy turned 11 today and wanted a bedroom makeover for his birthday. He was so excited about getting his double bed which I planned in advance and pre-booked it to come on his birthday. I even noted in the purchase info that it was his birthday.

Bedstar not only let my son down by bringing only half a bed. They strung us along all day having postponed the originally arranged morning slot. My child has no birthday present and is crying his eyes out! Needless to say they are now closed and unavailable to help. Terrible, terrible company!

Avoid This Company

Our young daughter moved into her first apartment and ordered a bed and mattress package from them back in October. The wrong size mattress was delivered and 2 of the drawers underneath were broken.

A date was arranged for the new mattress and drawers.

Drivers turned up late at 9pm, told my daughter that were taking the bed and mattress and left her with a new mattress and a large box. She assumed they were replacing the base completely. When she unpacked the box it was just 2 drawers and not a complete base.

She emailed customer service straight away that night to say that the drivers had taken the base away.

We have now been told that they have no record of the base being taken and they are asking for us to take more costs if we want a replacement base.

Bedstar are taking no responsibility for the matter and are blaming their outsourcing of the delivery company.

We keep being told that it's under investigation and again that if we want a base we have to pay a cost.

We have written to the owners and with no outcome we are going to trading standards now.

Our daughter is a civil servant working long hours and is having to sleep with the mattress on the floor, along with 2 useless drawers and no base.

Avoid ordering from this company!

Avoid Like The Plague

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I would give this company zero stars if I had the option. If you can get them to answer the phone or reply to your email you’re lucky.

They’re rude and incompetent. I ordered a bed frame costing just short of £1000.

They have delivered me two faulty beds. The first arrived in two completely different colours and missing half of it and the second arrived damaged on every part. They take no responsibility and don’t even apologise let alone compensate you for your wasted time. The courier service they use are awful and take no care in your home. They can’t seem to stick to deliver slots either causing so much inconvenience due to work.

I had the misfortune of having to deal with a ‘customer service rep’ just the status is insulting. She is the most ignorant and rude woman I have ever encountered. She told me she was ‘loosing the will to live’ with me over the phone. All I wanted was the bed I had paid for and for it to not have been covered in rips. Her ‘manager’ isn’t much better, she purposely won’t reply to emails until 5pm as not to deal with you.

The pair of them refused to organise collection of last faulty bed until I had sent photos of it re wrapped. Even though I confirmed I would do this but had to wait until I had a second pair of hands that evening. Delaying it even further!!

I now have to fight to get my refund. They shouldn’t be trading, utter shambles and so infuriating.

Warning Bad Aftercare!

I purchased a double ottoman and mattress from Bedstar.

Initially everything was great, delivery and product.

About 4 months ago I started to notice the base was dipping as the mattress was lower at one end.

Also it started to squeak badly and the side to lift the base was becoming loose.

I reported this to Bedstar with video evidence and a brief description.

They have denied there is a problem without even sending a technician out.

Appalling customer service/ aftercare.

I would have expected an £850 bed to last at least 1 year but sadly this will not be the case.

Maybe I was unlucky? Just be careful on buying with BEDSTAR, they might be value but you could have problems later like me.

Be warned and read other negative reviews!

Stay Away From This Company!!!

Stay away from this company!!! Courier delivery not reliable and they'll charge extra £50 for the delivery! I should have read the reviews before using them!

Bed Delivery And Refunds

I ordered a divan bed, king size for my new house. Delivery ordered online. On the day of delivery (after I took a day if AL) I found an email saying the bed is not available and offered different days slots. I picked a day, waited 2-3 days. Once delivery men did arrive, they attempted to carry the first part of the bed to my staircase. They then stopped and explained that the staircase was too narrow and they were not allowed to push the item up the stairs afraid not to scratch the wall surface as they could be charged for the damage caused. The bed was taken back. Considering that the previous house owners had a Kings size divan bed upstairs (which looked exactly like one of the beds on Bedstar website), with a big headboard, I am pretty sure the divan would have fitted ok in the staircase. I spoke to the customer service to request for an advice. I was hoping a solution could be offered. Instead I spoke to a lady who sounded very impatient, straight blamed me for unsuccessful delivery, and I was given an option for a refund(less a charge for the unsuccessful delivery, estimated as £60!). I have now been waiting for the refund(5 calendar days so far)and haven’t been able to order a new bed (elsewhere) until I get the funds from Bedstar… I regret choosing this company services

Worst Company I Have Ever Had Dealings With

I ordered a mattress from this company and paid for my old mattress to be removed. They rook away my old mattress but failed to deliver the one that I had paid for. I was left with nowhere to sleep. Do not have any dealings with this company. They are a couldn't care less. They will just take your money and run.

Shocking Company Please Avoid

Ordered £400 bunk beds product aerived damaged and parts missing. Parts that were there were put together. This was a Bday present, customer service was rude and unhelpful took over a week for replacement parts (which I was told to liasie with the warehouse to sort out)

Wanted to complain, only allowed to by email, three weeks to reply ?!!

The worst company I have dealt with.bad product and worse customer service
