I bought an item of furniture from Christies recently which turned out to be the incorrect size from what I had asked for. Their first reaction was to say that I couldn't return it and returns were above their position so I would have to speak to the manager. They were adamant it was my problem and not theirs - as the furniture specialists, when taking the order they should be the ones knowing the different size options and guiding their customers. I was abashed by the after sales service received; they were very obnoxious and I felt like I had to fight my corner to get the product I ordered when the error was with them. When waiting for the replacement I was told that it was probably best I drive up to their warehouse to collect it if I wanted it in a timely manner, otherwise it'll arrive in their Penryn store 'at some point'.

I would strongly advice people not to purchase anything from Christies, they're ready and waiting to take your money but if you have any issues they proved to be extremely unhelpful.

Excellent choice of high quality furniture and all very well priced. Delivery came on time. All in all very happy and will be going back.

After a relative bought over £2000 of furniture in Christies and the lady she dealt with was lovely I thought I would shop there too. Unfortunately I was not so lucky and had to couldn't be bothered 'you have to buy if from the catalogue as we don't keep everything on the floor' guy. Very patronising and down right rude. Will not be going back and will definitely not recommend them to friends.

My husband and I ordered a 3 seater reclining sofa with 2 matching recliner chairs. Christie's had them hand made in Italy for us and delivered in 6 weeks. The quality and comfort is outstanding and a cut above, yet the prices were much lower than the other furniture stores were charging for less authentic high quality leather sofas. We also found Christie's Furniture to be a genuine pleasure to do business with in terms of friendliness and professionalism etc

They have a large showroom with all sorts of furniture and beds and we will certainly be back when we are ready for more.

This is the 3rd time I've bought something from Christie's Furniture and I find them reliable, professional and courteous. Above all the furniture that they sell is the best you will find in Cornwall. It's stylish, good quality and very well priced

From the moment we walked in to the time we left we were looked after very professionally ( But not hassled ) by a very good team in Penryn.

The range of settees on offer were excellent and made for a easier choice.

I highly recommend Christie's Furniture store in Cornwall. The prices are much lower than any where else I looked given how high the quality is. I bought a Farnborough corner group and a matching 2 seater sofa last year which I absolutely love. I also just took delivery yesterday of a New York oak console table, hifi unit and coffee table which looks absolutely stunning all together in my living room. The service I received was very good. They told me it would take approximately 2 weeks and as I was excited to get it, I kept phoning them every few days for updates (which I apologise for!!) but they were always very helpful and polite. It ended up taking 15 days so not too bad and definitely worth the wait. There's loads of other bits I liked so will be returning when I'm ready. All in all a great furniture store.

I bought a corner sofa and a 2 seater sofa from Christie's Furniture which was delivered early January and we are very happy with it. The service we received was excellent. They told us it would take 4 - 6 weeks to be made for us but then they called us after 3 weeks to say they could deliver it and when do you want it where it was delivered the next day. All in all we both think it's a gem of a store as it has a huge range of various furniture where all of it is stylish, good quality and surprisingly cheap given this. Highly recommended.

The corner suite fits the room perfectly and looks really good. The only criticism I would have is that the fabric on the 'corner chair' always puckers up and needs straightening after you sit on it! Maybe it's just the type of fabric. Getting used to it! The sofa is really comfortable.

Your member of staff was helpful, polite and efficient. Our order arrived in store no was delivered to our house the same day ! Brilliant! thank you
