No Show After 3 Months
Avoid at all cost ,ordered a table ,paid for it sept 27 /2023 , well its been, middle of oct not in stock yet, should be middle of November ,another email no show ,might be middle of December , another no show , i ve rang and get, might be January, still no date ,loosing all hope , this was a special xmas present ,they take your money and well , i cant ever see getting the table , i ve emailed ,spoke on the phone,just keep getting put off with another date ,so its a deadline now ,jan 5th ,then if no show, i ll cancel and ask for a full refund, what hassle and palava ,if you cant get the table refund me and stop making false promises ,this is a joke ,and i just hope i get my refund after 5th January ,or its going further ,ombudsman and coustomer rights ,not happy , WEB319778 this is my reference

Terrible Company
Purchased a desk with a 6 week lrad time.
Called before placing the order to be told it would actually be 8 weeks.
Following the purchase this changed instantly to 12 weeks.
At 12 weeks I chased delivery to be told it would be another 3 weeks.
I then followed up again to be told it would be delivered on a set day in two weeks time.
Somebody had to be present to accept the delivery, and the delivery window was all day.
Late morning I received an unapologetic phone call telling me that their van had broken down and delivery would be the following week or week after.
I rang up and the customer service advisor was extremely rude.
Canceled the order, this company is the worst I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with and never actually ended up getting the desk!
Avoid them like the plague and spend your money elsewhere!

I placed an order on 15 September 2022 for a complete set of bedroom furniture. The description led me to believe it would be around 2-3 weeks for delivery. This cost me £2,486. I rang up on 26th September to request a rough delivery date, to be told all items would be coming in at different times between the end of November to the middle of December 2022!!! The following day (20/09/2022), I emailed to advise I wished to cancel the order. I followed this up the following day, due to not being contacted at all about the cancellation. I was informed I would receive an email with 24 hours. I did receive an email offering me £250 cashback to keep my order going. I emailed asking the terms but then changed my mind so emailed saying no and that I wished to still cancel By 30/09/2022 I had not had a reply so I rang and was told it was my fault because I had emailed more than once, sending my email to the bottom of the pile!! I cancelled by phone and was assured my refund would be in my bank account within 10 working days. So, 14th October arrives, no refund. I rang them at 8am and was told it left their account the day before and would be held in the banking system.and it would be with me by the end of the day. I rang my bank (Natwest) and they could not see any money from HomeDirect365. So around 3pm I called HD365 extremely annoyed. I wanted to speak to someone in charge but was fobbed off that they were all in meetings but was informed that they money had left their account at 9.25am that day. By now I was libid as this had changed considering they told me it left the day before. I was told it was with my bank and it was them who were holding on to it. So, I ring natwest again and was informed that this is not how they operate and any refund would be put immediately back onto the card it had debited as soon as the money left HD365 account. So ANOTHER call. This time I spoke to a manager (who actually answered the phone so was not in a meeting). I was informed they were onto their merchant bank (Paypal) who themselves had caused the problem by sending the money somewhere which was holding it until 20th - 25th Oct. I explained that I had no money to go shopping to feed my children as I was waiting for this money which I should have received that day at the latest so could they do an immediate bank transfer to me for the full refund and then take the matter up with PayPal and have thr mo ey diverted bank to their account. They point blank refused to do this. So, here I am on thr Sunday afternoon. Still no money and the chukdten and I have had to eat what we could muster together from tins of food and anything in the freezer. This is totally their/PayPal fault and they could not care. I will have to start again tomorrow phoning them and trying to sort it all out again, just to get MY MONEY BACK.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! THE DELUVERY TIMES ARE NOT WHAT IT STATES ON THEIR WEBSITE AND IF YOU CANCEL, YOU WONT SEE YOUR MONEY AND WILL GO THROUGH A LOT OF STRESS TRYING TO GET IT BACK!!!
SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!

Customer service absolutely disgusting!! Spent £800 on a wardrobe during covid. Unfortunately because of circumstances our build was delayed. Items arrive and were checked for damage, boxed back up and shut away. Months later when we came to build the item and we were missing the bottom with the legs on. The first lady I told gave me the impression that there would not be any problems and even laughed at my predicament! 4 calls later the only response I have been given is that there is nothing that can be done. I have offered to pay extra for the part and assured them that my husband can make it fit if they remake the piece but they will not help and are not interested! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

Horrendous company, avoid at all costs. Their items take MONTHS to be delivered, when it did arrive the items were damaged and so were 2 replacements that they offered. The issue is still ongoing and I ordered over a year ago.
The customer service is appalling, the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to. They have absolutely no problem with laughing at you and calling you names on the phone. They should be shut down!

Awful company - too small to be reliable, not honest…
I would urge anyone NOT to use this company, my experience has been awful, I ordered a matching dressing table, stool and mirror on 7 December 2020. I cancelled my order today 23 June 2021 as they advised that the mirror was still “a sea” which is exactly where is was 3 weeks previously. Each of the items has arrived separately and they wait for it all to arrive so that they can check that wood actually matches. That was not explained to me until after my 3rd phone call, in fact, at no point did they contact me to apologise or explain what was happening, only ever responding to my phone calls/emails. They have told me often that this is not their fault as they get their furniture manufactured in Indonesia and this is out of their hands. Apparently they are also only a small family business and don’t have the capacity to provide any kind of customer service.They were however, quick to take a lot of my money and put it in their bank for months. Strange that….Also, you wont find anything lthat tells you the actual truth on their web page or a warning that you might wait approx 7 months for delivery. This is a small company, unable to manage or deliver on their endless empty ptomises it would not surprise me all to hear that they go bankrupt as they seem completely unable to manage their company. Don’t risk your money, time and anxiety….. stay well clear….

The fact i am having to give a 1 star rating is appalling as I would not give this company even 1 star.
My goods were delivered 3 weeks ago however I am on crutches disabled so I had to wait for my brother to unpack the furniture, one of the items was nearly 100kg
2 of the items faulty one broken glass not even unpacked out of plastic packaging and one has a defect in the middle of a piece of glass .
So they sent me out defected and damaged goods
These items even in the sale were not cheap and the company today has stated they will not replace them so I have had to contact trading standards and I will have to also refer to the ombudsman.
They say the reason for this is it has taken me 3 weeks to contact them I had already advised I am on crutches so how am I suppose to unpackage 100kg side unit on my own with no hands available to do so as I am on crutches
Absolutely disgusting in there lack of empathy to my situation.
Do not order goods from these sharks as they will send you out damaged and faulty goods and breach your consumer rights by refusing to do anything .

I wish there was an option to select -1. This company has dissatisfied/disappointed / stressed me out so much . I need actually help to sort this matter . They have sent me the bed with no 3 screws when the bed requires 10 screws. Three wks now I have sent 7 emails . They finally sent me screws really tiny ones that just doesn’t fit the bed at all. I then requested them to send the right ones and send the picture of the right screw . But the have literally replied back this

They have sent this reply ... seriously !!!! It’s been 4wks now I’ve been sleeping on just mattress without bed.

French Silver Bed And Mattress
I bought a beutifull French style bed and fit a fab mattress to go with it they both are amazing quality and probably will never need a bed or mattress again as these are so strong like I say the quality is excellent it was very easy to put together and all my visitors love it I would recommend any product from this company customer care was very good as Well as they kept hold of my order till I was ready for it I love going to bed it's the comfortablist I've ever had in a bed and mattress

I was unfortunate enough to purchase some furniture from Homes Direct 365 for a friend in April 2018. The furniture was supposed to arrive in June. It arrived in August, with no apologies. This was just the start, as what arrived was Ill fitting, not matching and generally poor quality. The web site is very glossy, but reality is that the office is in a rough part of Middlesbrough (I know as I am from Boro) and the hand carved furniture is made in Indonesia. Expect no customer service, just shallow apologies when you contact them, as they don’t contact you. Please also expect to waste time when the delivery is due, as they abort deliveries without notification and have folk wait in all day wasting their time, again no apology, just abuse when you complain. My advice would be to not use this company if it was the last furniture supplier on Earth! The replacements were due end of October, but now are in November, so the nightmare continues.

Not surprised that the customer service team are still all at sea.
By chance, the replacement furniture we ordered in April was re delivered today and the quality is no better so you were lucky!
Lovely bedroom side tables. Good quality. Had some lovely comments on them. Customer service was ok however tried to say had attempted to make contact and this was not the case. Despite this order arrived and they are lovely

I was about to place an order and so checked out the reviews. Previous comments from last year appeared to be positive but since 2014 the comments have been awful. Can anyone give me an update on whats going on with this company?
Not ordered recently but they did sort out problems I had with my order-part of which was missing. You can ring them and speak to real people which might set your mind at rest. Alternatively, Dunelm do some of the same range. Hope this helps.

No idea how long the company has been running. Can only tell you about my own experience. Ordered goods over the telephone. Needed a refund (or replacement) for one faulty item. Had to take the company to the Small Claims Court before the refund was forthcoming. Posted my experience on this website. Homesdirect tried to get it removed. Good luck!!
