I am very pleased with service I have received. I ordered 3 end of line pendant lights with glass shades which arrived about a week later, but one shade was broken in transit. When I rang to see if they could help, the lady straight away said although they were end of line she could source a replacement shade. It came the following morning only 24 hours after my call! Free of charge/no quibbles. Can't wait to get them up the quality looks fab. Well done in an excellent service with real people!

We have bought several products from Jim Lawrence over the past few years and have always been impressed. The showroom offers wonderful, friendly service along with a selection of beverages, which was a welcoming touch. We spent a long time perusing and picking out various wall lights, pendants, and handles to compliment our new home. The quality of the ironmongery is superb, and everything we bought just looks fabulous in our house. We liked the fact that the products are made here in Suffolk, and by techniques that still stand the test of time. Keep up the good work!

We have been using JL regularly over the past 3 years, and couldn't be happier with the price, service, and quality of the products. Needed some new hall lights and really liked the styles available on the Jim Lawrence website. Decided to purchase from the showroom rather than online, and we were amazed at how many of the products were available to view. Decided on the lights and purchased them. From initially taking them from the box, I was really impressed with the quality and, once they were installed, really pleased with the look. Since then, we have changed the lights in the dining room, sitting room and started to change the light switches as well. Oh, and did I mention the curtain poles... Yes, its hard to know where to stop.....

After spending a lot time looking online to find a traditional-style wall light for my home, I came across Jim Lawrence. I rang and spoke to lovely lady on the phone and we discussed an issue that my electrician has made me aware of and the wall light had to be adapted with a raised backplate- due to living in a very old cottage! I was told that this wasn't an issue and delivery would be around 10-14 days. The light was hand-made especially for me and delivered within a week. It's now installed and really looks delightful!

I have just received a pendant light with chain from jim lawrence, all I can say is superb quality definitely not found on the high street.

Made my first order from Jim Lawrence for delivery to France at the end of October . When I ordered , the site stated that 9 were,available. I was quoted extortionate postage to France but as I couldn't source what I wanted here I decided that in the interests of speed I would pay. Six days later my order had not even been processed. There was no communication from the company at all. I e mailed them and was told they were making my order and that it would be with me by 12th November. It didn't arrive. The site showed my order still unprocessed. I contacted them again and was told that they delay was expected but that my order would be posted the next day. It didn't arrive. I contacted them again for a tracking number after it failed to materialise as promised, which showed a delay and delivery on 23rd November. They arrived on 20th. The quality of the product was good although I was not impressed with the electric cable they supplied, but the delivery charges are astronomic for such a slow service. The customer service requires prompting to get a response and they are not proactive in informing you what is going on. As an example of the ridiculous postal charges, Rutlands charge £12.95 for delivery to France up to 30 kilos and it is delivered in 3-5 days. That is good value. Jim Lawrence charges are nothing short of a rip off. I wouldn't use them again.

The range of lighting available is extensive and has meant that we have been back to Jim Lawrence time and again to purchase lights as we have decorated and furnished rooms of our house. We have been delighted with all the products we have bought; beautifully crafted pendant lights and simple yet elegant lamps have finished our rooms off beautifully and been commented on by many a visitor. The ordering process has always gone without a hitch and the staff without fail have been extremely helpful. The showroom is a pleasure to enter, easy viewing of products in a relaxed atmosphere, even with a toy box and colouring for children, what more could you want?!
