Customer Service............not

Items seem to be well priced until you try to have the item delivered. Paid £127 for a coffee table and money was taken from my account but no receipt issued. Phoned customer services who stated it was an issue with PayPal. Receipt issued with BT address stating delivery was free but on speaking to him, he stated that I would have to pay for delivery but he didn't know how much it was.

Waited for two days with no reply. Phoned Customer Services again to be told that delivery was £40 !! Stated that it was a software problem which enabled me to make an order without paying delivery?

Found him to be quite rude and he stated that I should have seen the terms and conditions on the front page Banner ( very small font which you have to click into and then read !!) He then stated what do you want, pay the delivery or cancel the order. No management available to take my complaint.

Avoid like the plague.

***do Not Buy From This Shoddy Company***

On 29th September I purchased a garden table and chairs (just under £1300.00) for my new conservatory. On 3rd October, a lady from Morale phoned me to say the table was out of stock and would I accept a smaller one at a reduced price (which I said I'd go away and consider). The following day (4th) I called to say that I didn't want a smaller table and asked for the order to be cancelled straightaway (which I confirmed by email).

On 5th October, the Operations Manager emailed to ask if I was sure that I wanted to cancel my order, and I confirmed that I had not changed my mind and asked when my payment would be returned (was told 48 hours).

So here I am on 12th October still with no refund (8 days after cancellation). The Operations Manager always conveniently seems to be away from his desk when I phone for an update, and I am now really angry (as I'm waiting to place an order with another supplier, and need the new table and chairs by October half term as I have guest coming to stay).

Would never ever use this company again, or recommend it to anyone else - appalling service!!!

Morale Uk Goods Not Received Over A Month On Still No Refund

Ordered and paid for item on 04th July, told on 11th it was not available, Should have stated this on web site. Asked for refund on 12th , was later told it would take 5 - 7 days, Still no refund emailed again told would be done by the 22nd July. why when money is transferred so easily these days, now the 1st September and still no refund!!!!

Taking Money And Not Supplying Goods

This is simple. This business needs to be investigated. It's taking money under false pretences. It's had my money since 6th August and has not supplied the table I ordered.

I have tried to contact the person Listed as Company Secretary at Companies House. He appears to be in a meeting and has said he'll call back. I'm waiting for that call.

Shocking Aftercare Service

Warning don't buy anything from this company. If things go wrong you will be very disappointed. We bought a gazebo and it took over 6 weeks to replace damaged parts. It was a battle to get the company to accept responsibility. We didn't know whether they would replace the goods or refund our money during this time and we had to push constantly. It was very stressful. There are lots of other more reputable companies out there that I would choose over this one

Terrible Service - Not Worth The Hassle!

Absolutely awful service. I ordered some bedroom furniture in March and was told to expect a 2-4 week delivery. It took 4 months for any furniture to arrive at all. When it did, the bed broke within two weeks. After 6 months the chest of drawers finally arrived damaged. After sending it back I'm still waiting and they can't tell me when a replacement will arrive. To make the delays worse, they don't keep you informed about what's going on with your order, leaving you having to call repeatedly to find out anything from the elusive managers. Awful, awful, awful.

Order For Conservatory Furniture

Placed order for Conservatory furniture, we also picked a change to the fabric, the staff were excellent and very helpful, we were told after they called supplier that it would be approx. 4 weeks for delivery, 16 days after ordering we received call that it would be delivered next day. It was delivered when they said and just what we asked for, the lads that delivered it were excellent. Thanks Frank H

I Wouldn't Recommend This Company To My Worst Enemy!

I am writing this review in the hope of preventing people from ordering from this awful company that go under the name of 'Moral Home Furnishings' AND 'First Furniture' due to the fact that one company got such a bad reputation, they had to go under a different name. I will therefore be writing this review for both. I urge you please don't buy from this company (companies), seek your item somewhere else and they will do a price match if this is coming up as cheapest. To be honest I'm not even sure they actually have the items they are advertising. They just take your money for months on end, make interest on it (which the owner actually told me they do, even though it is minimal) and then never end up delivering the item. We paid for a new sofa on our credit card in DECEMBER. In January after hearing nothing from the company, no correspondence whatsoever about when it would be delivered I rung to ask where it was. I was told end of January the item would be in stock again (even though the website said 'in stock' delivery in 7-10 days). This was not true and they never updated their website. It is still on there now! This is false advertising. End of January came and went, again with no communication from them, so I rung back again and was finally told this item was not available until March (if it even exists). It was then I decided to cancel the order and the real fun started. I was told to cancel I had to send the company an email. When my refund never materialised I rung AGAIN and was told this email had never even been opened or read. Finally I was put through to the 'accounts dept' which incidentally is the owner who doesn't get in until 10:30am so this 'department' is not open and is literally the RUDEST man alive. Every time I rung I also had to speak to the most dis-interested girl. This company (companies) is run by complete cretins who care so little about the fact that you have been out of pocket hundreds of pounds for months because they have been literally laughing their way to the bank earning interest and spending YOUR hard earned money. I have been charged over £20 interest for the sofa I bought on my credit card and so will now have to claim this through section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act - when I quoted this to the owner he said he'd never heard of it, yet delighted in telling me he'd been in this business of swindling people out of money for 6 years. It is absolutely disgusting that I have lost £20 for nothing, I have no sofa, I have paid interest for no reason all because they couldn't be bothered to just email/call me up and say this item was out of stock. I have now got to face the arduous task of claiming for this from my credit card company, and lodging a formal complaint with the financial ombudsman regarding the appallingly fraudulent behaviour of these companies. Please please please don't waste months of your life and throw your money down the drain by going to order from Morale OR first furniture.

Last Week I Bought The Oak Extending Table. As It

last week I bought the oak extending table. As it was so necessary for me and I was kind of busy so I took simple online ordering service and it was confirmed by email and also by phone. Delivery instructions were great and the delivery men was very active. I put it together simply with all the pieces intact besides delivery man also helped me to make it complete. The quality of product was very satisfying & absolutely charming. I'm very pleased and would buy more stuff at a later date. I hope that the quality you've provide me, it'll continue in future.....

Avoid At All Cost!!!!!

I placed an order for a coffee table on the 20th MAY, the table arrived on time and all the packaging was intact.....However on opening the item was it had been manufactured incorrectly and couldn't be assembled rendering it useless.

I contacted Morale the same day to inform them the item was faulty and was asked to send photos of the problem for them to send to the manufacturer.

I was informed that they would be in touch to arrange a pickup and drop off for the replacement.

Ont the morning the replacement should have arrived I received a call from the manufacturer saying that the replacement also had the same fault so they wouldn't devliver it, or would not pick the faulty item up.

I called Morale to ask what else could be done and informed them about the call I had received....they had no clue. So I requested a refund as the goods were not fit for purpose. I was told they would arrange for the manufacturer to collect it and I would receive a call to confirm.

This and every other subsequent phonecall reply or email reply was ignored.

The table was eventually picked up after constant phonecalls where everything was blamed on the manufacturer on the 3rd JULY!!

I repeatedly pointed out to them that my contract was with Morale, not their manufacturer, and had the priviledge of speaking to numerous so called customer service managers who were all equally terrible at their job title.

I then started a long battle to have my £350 refunded that was promised to be returned when the goods had been picked up.....this also was met with repeated phonecalls to rude customer service staff who continually fobed me off.

I have eventually received my refund on the 30th JULY after me threatening to take them to court for breach of contract repeatedly.

I advise anyone thinking of buying from this shambles to hit back page and look elswhere.
