I bought a Picasso reproduction painting from Paintinghere but it was impounded by US Customs who said that they needed to see the license from the Picasso estate authorizing the reproduction as lots of copies from China are unlicensed. When I bought it Wujin Lin said he had a license but he stopped answering my emails when I asked him for a copy so that I could clear the painting through Customs. I can't get my money back as although his website says payment is by Paypal it is in fact by Bank of China.

The painting I ordered was very badly painted, my 5 year old son could have done better! It arrived 4 months late and I immediately returned it to paintinghere in Xiamen, China at my own expense in expectation of a refund. That was three months ago and needless to say I haven't received any refund and they don't reply to my emails. I am now $379 out of pocket. Buyer beware, you have been warned.

Just had a Ruane Manning painting done and I have to say it turned out absolutely beautiful! We are so happy with the work the artist did for us and will definitely buy from them again. I paid $278 for a painting from paintinghere.com but they just took my money and never delivered anything and now refuse to answer my emails. Based in Xiamen, China

I ordered an oil painting from PaintingHere, and when I received the painting the canvas was so loose. The canvas was not stretched tight enough. The way the canvas was mounted to the frame was so flimsy. I took the painting to a frame shop to be fixed. The canvas had to be re-stretched, a new stretch bar was needed to replace the existing smaller stretch bar, and I got another frame. I would never order from PaintingHere because of the poor quality. My family could not believe how poorly this was put together.

We have three paintings from them purchased at different times. Each is truly beautiful and extremely well done.
