Shocking Customer Service, Cheap Products
Ordered 2 stools 6weeks ago, were not satisfied with quality was asked to email proof of products that was poorly made. Did as they asked , they agreed they should be better quality, but refused to take them back as they had been built up! But said they could send out to seats to replace the seats on the stools but not the base! 5 weeks in several emails later of being fobbed off and ignored I’m still waiting. Avoid this company! Poor customer service,poor quality & wont accept returns if you have built up the stools.
£180 for 2 stools that are poor and look cheap.

Terrible Service From This Company - Avoid At All Costs.
I have had terrible service from this company.
They sent me two products with chips in, then sent replacement parts to the wrong address and tried to tell me I signed for them when I didn't. Then weren't able to provide proof when I requested it.
Their staff dealing with complaints are rude and unhelpful as if they have no interest in resolving the issue and continually offered me £6.00 off an additional stool as a resolution. I've already spent £80!

Sorrento Bar Stools
Just purchased two Sorrento leather bar stools. They look reasonably good, the leather looks very swish, and the delivery and ordering was very smooth. However, they are not very comfortable. The seat places you too far forward - slightly tipping off the seat and if you push yourself back into the seat you then seem to tip back. Ergonomically, its not quite right and I can see from several other reviews I am not the only one that thinks this. A shame! Ironically, the two (also modern) bar stools I had purchased off our local market two years ago for a fiver each were much better designed and more comfortable albeit made with cheaper looking fabric. Unfortunately, I think this is a problem of buying furniture online without being able to try them somewhere first.

Do not use chairs rusty when arrived sent back next day still waiting refund 10 days later. Did send email with pictures of chairs did not even responde

Absolutely Truly Unimaginably Terrible!!
Absolutely appalling from start to finish. Didn't receive an order confirmation as their systems were "not working properly", they "lost the order" so took nearly a month to arrive, no stock or original stools so had to choose an alternative, when it did arrive it was damaged, then after sales service was truly shocking. I have never in my 25 years of office experience had dealings with such rude people.
Needless to say all the order is being returned and a full refund has been requested.
My advise stay well clear of this company!!
Chair Shaft Broke And Damaged Floor Tiling
Bought two car bar chairs, hardly ever used them, perhaps once a week for half an hour, and users are well under the maximum weight limit. One chair's shaft broke, sending me to the ground and hitting the tiled floor so badly that it left a nasty round mark on the tile for good. Impossible to fix as the shaft went all the way through the bottom of the casing. Send photos of broken chair and damage to floor to customer service at simplybarstools but as this happed within 2 years (but after warranty expired after 1 year) simplybarstools did not offer any help. Suggest if you wish to have your chairs for over 1 year and do not want to be hurt if the chair collapses underneath you consider using another company.
May add that on delivery of the chairs the base of both chairs were badly scratched so that we had to asked for replacement bases and had to get rid of the scratched bases ourselves.

Discontinued Stock??
I ordered 2 black Oslo mesh stools wednesday 22 February and paid by paypal. as there was no delivery i had an online discussion with customer care. i was told the item was discontinued. The item is still for sale online.
what is annoying i didn't get any notification by email.as i relayed this to the online team, i waited over 20 minutes for an answer, so
i phoned, the first time the phone went dead.called again, although apologetic, not good at all.
now i await for my refund........ also staff need to be properly trained to answer the phone i had to ask for the persons name twice before the conversation started,........
