We purchased a sideboard from Westbridge Stoke-on-Trent, Meir Park approx 5 months ago. On delivery one of the legs immediately fell off when positioning the furniture and on inspection the screws which weren’t fit for purpose were poorly fixed to a cheap mdf base. After complaining and arguing with the manager he finally agreed to replace the unit reluctantly.

We’ve not had this unit 6 months and it is such a let down. It looks great at first but one of the doors is wonky and a huge split has formed on the top of it. I assume this is from settling in but I would not expect this to happen to such an extent. When cleaning it i got a huge splinter in my hand.

I’m really disappointed at the quality. For nearly £600 I expect much better. The fact we’ve had this less than 6 months and it’s knackered says it all. The last piece of wooden furniture we had from them 10 years ago and it’s still standing.

Complete rubbish.. Don’t buy from them.

After a number of phonecalls to westbridge Furniture we decided to travel 1.5 hours to Stoke on trent after Westbridge staff told us they had over 600 sofas in stock.

We entered the show room which was a complete let down hardly any sofas on display. I asked a male middle aged member of staff where are all the sofas we were told about. His reply was in warehouses I can let you in one of the warehouses I can only let you in for a couple of minutesand he wasn't joking. He then said you have got to know what you are looking for ie shape and colour as the sofas are all wrapped up. Our reply was how do we know what we want until we see it and sit on it. You cant decide in a couple of minutes. We had travelled 3 hour round trip to be in a shop for exactly 8 minutes. We were totally disgusted by the way a member of staff spoke to us. Extremely poor customer service. we will never recommend this shop or go here again.

Ordering was fine, money taken straight away, then having to chase for delivery, once delivered parts were missing and others faulty, don't worry, we will order today and they will be sent by airmail, then nothing from them until we chased, the shop claim they didn't know, their staff/fitter called to order the new parts.

Totally amateur company, DO NOT USE, unless you want furniture that doesn't fit well, now reporting them to the Furniture Ombudsmen and the CC company for failing to deliver goods in a timely manner, failing to provide goods that are fit for purpose and failure to respond to our calls.

Trying to get replacement covers for Westbridge sofa. Getting no help at all. Given conflicting advise from different people. What should be a relatively simple procedure is turning into a time consuming cul-de-sac.

I have purchased quite a few items of Furniture from this company always their prices are below the larger stores and the quality is superb. Delivers is so easy never a let down always at the time they state. On my last delivery they needed to build the Wardrobes and at the same time offered to fit our Curtain Fittings first as the Wardrobe in place would make it difficult for my afterwards. All packaging is taken away and they are so friendly, give them a try.
