I was a little bit hesitant buying online but 77 Diamonds were amazing! The rings are beautiful and certainly much better value than on the High Street. I got a 0.85ct F VS2 brilliant for the same amount I would have paid for a much smaller and lower quality one. The staff was extremely helpful and patient and even managed to have the ring ready sooner so that I could have it for my proposal. Needless to say my now fiance is over the moon can’t stop showing off her ring. Thank you to everyone at 77 Diamonds, I will be back for wedding bands.

Fantastic service from initial order to delivery, I needed this ring delivered sooner than expected and customer service's pulled out all the stops to make sure it arrived on time, and what a Ring..i am so pleased with this ring. Will definitely use this company again.

We were concerned about buying a diamond ring online, but high street choices were not what we wanted and high street prices seemed relatively high.

We ordered an 18 carat yellow gold princess/pear trilogy ring with 0.85 carat main diamond (Barcelona style).

We were advised early on that the stone we had selected was noticeably yellow and were advised to consider a slightly smaller but better coloured stone at a similar price. As size seemed important we enquired about several other possibilities and I was astounded at how the people at 77 diamonds were very knowledgeable and went into great detail, sending us pictures and details of several diamonds, explaining the differences in the different certification/assessment systems etc. Far more expert and professional advice than one might hope to receive on the High Street.

At no time did they try to oversell or up the price, they really seemed to have our best interests at heart.

The proof is in the final product which came at the promised time about 4 weeks after ordering. Beautifully packaged and to our eyes flawless.My wife fell in love with it, it exceeded our expectations by far, and if we are ever in the enviable position of buying diamonds again, they would definitely be our first port of call!

We booked an appointment for our wedding rings after the excellent service we received when my husband bought my engagement ring. Without my knowledge the ring arrived quickly and discreetly, and there was no issues returning to be re-sized at no extra charge! I was kept updated throughout and the ring was returned exactly when they said it would be!

Our appointment for our wedding rings was relaxed but informative and gave us the ideal opportunity to try out different styles and finishes we didn't even know were available. It allowed us to tailor our rings exactly how we wanted them without any hassle and in a lovely quiet one to one area.

For great value and excellent service I would recommend these guys!

I like the quality of these guys compared to other online retailers. Also the fact that they have a UK presence. The other big names in online diamonds also have a UK presence but it feels more like an offshoot rather than a UK "shop front".

The website search is very good (most online sites are) but one differentiator is that you can search by certification lab which was important and useful for me.

Other website's search results will show the lab (eg. AGS) easily enough so its not a big deal but I did like being able to narrow down a search to only GIA certificates (in advanced search).

I would advise, don't be taken in by any marketing campaign for diamonds; all this 1 months salary, 3 months salary rubbish. Get your budget and go with the cut (first and foremost), carat, colour and clarity that your budget will buy.

That's if you even want a diamond for your engagement! The Zuck went with a ruby (seeing as the tradition of diamond engagement rings is only about 100 years old).

And i got it for about half the price I would pay on the market and in Hatton garden. I think I definitely got mine at a Dubai price.

I do recommend though that with anything else you do your research on diamonds and their cost.

Study the four Cs thoroughly. read up alot about diamonds.

Service at 77 is excellent. I did return the first diamond though I bought without any trouble as I thought it was too yellow...but without any problems.

Another thing is to be clear of the differences in grading between different diamond certificates.

Don't be put off by EGL diamonds. A diamond is a diamond. They offer excellent value for money. If you like the way it looks and its features and the price go for it. Most people purchase a diamond for a lifetime not necessarily for resale.

They also set my stone for free as I got my own setting separately elsewhere.

I definitely recommend them. They are polite, friendly and very efficient.

A really professional service with impartial advice on a subject we knew little about! Starting with the website, this was simple and easy to use with very good images of the different styles of diamonds, rings and settings. Great for getting more of an idea of what we wanted. Having seen a beautiful ring on the website we went to the showroom and were guided through the process of choosing a diamond by a very helpful and impartial advisor. Very friendly service both choosing the ring and collecting it too. My fiancée is thrilled with it and cannot stop staring at it! We would not hesitate to recommend 77Diamonds to our friends.
