This Company Can Ruin Even The Most Special Occasions.

Placed an order for an expensive wedding ring, was told it was in stock paid in full then to be told it wasn’t in stock.

They even admitted this in a chat response it stated:

"At the moment, our website does not display a live stock count for each size, which may lead to the ring being advertised as available for next-day delivery for all sizes. Please rest assured that we are actively working on improving our website to implement a live stock count feature." This is know as bait and switch which is a breach of the consumer protection act 2015.

When I placed the order I was told it was in stock and I'd get it next day, but then they said it wasn't and they would have to make it specially, I was only told this after they had my money. (again bait and switch), a few days later they then forced me to agree to additional terms and conditions, again this is a breach of consumer regulations by unilaterally imposing new terms and conditions.

I placed the order on 5th December, I still don't have the ring (yet the have had my approximately £4k for nearly 6 weeks, which was meant to be presented for Christmas, this company can ruin even the most special occasions.

Another of the consumer regulations they breach comes when they entice their customer to buy their products based on the unsubstantiated RRP prices, in my instance they stated the RRP was £6,739 and their price was £3,665.

I asked them to demonstrate how they arrived at the RRp of £6,739, so I could decide if I actually was getting a good deal, they refused to be transparent. They sad the RRp was the "estimated hight street value", this means nothing as they would not state how the arrived at that estimate. I asked for the data used to reach that estimate, they again refused. They said the data was classified. This is a breach of consumer regulations to use RRP to entice customers then refuse to provide the calculations and data to demonstrate this. It is also a breach of the Advertising standards Authority's advertising codes.

I raised this and the delays in providing the ring in early december I still have had no ring and no response to my complaints, which they say they will deal with winin 10 days.

Their phone lines have been down for over a since beginning of December, the recorded message says it due to a technical issues. A company this size would not allow this communications contractors to allow this to happen, it is obvious given the delays I have suffered in getting responses and waiting 4 times longer to get the ring than I paid for, the phone line have been taken down by them as they are massively under staffed. Yet they treat their customers like idiots and expect them to believe it is due to technical issues.

Ordered a necklace for a birthday gift. Made the order 24 days before the birthday so it would arrive on time. Order never arrived. For some reason they asked the carrier for it to be shipped back. They never told me the reason. Rude customer service.

Avoid this company at all costs

I brought a diamond bracelet for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day, the bracelet was absolutely massive I'm surprised it could fit on any girls wrist, I took it to have links taken out, which had no effect on the workmanship of the rest of the bracelet in anyway what so ever. Not even after 2 months one of the Diamonds just randomly fell out and then we started to notice on closer inspection that some of the clasps holding the rest of the diamonds in we're starting to bend this is clearly poor workmanship, upon contact to the Diamond store they told me to return the item for an inspection ( at my own cost) they then proceeded to tell me that because I'd had links taken out, it's voided the warranty!!!!! Then tried telling me that they would send me a brand new one if I paid 175 pound bearing in mind I'd already paid 208 pound for the bracelet.... in essence they were trying to charge me twice for a bracelet I already owned( and clearly in this admission they were also saying that the bracelet they originally sent me was in poor craftsmanship otherwise why would they send a brand new one out) why not repair the one they already had there?! I'd even made the offer for them to take out the one of diamonds sent in the links just to replace it and to address the poor workmanship with the rest of the clasps that was bending and falling apart, they claim to be high quality jewellery, jewellery doesn't Fall Apart after two months, I will never be using this company again and I would strongly suggest that no one else does.... I highly doubt I will receive a refund from these people and I'll probably end up having to pay the postage myself to get my broken bracelet back so I will end up just being left with a shoddy poor craftsmanship bracelet that definitely wasn't worth 208 pound , I will now seek to take them to a small courts claim, and I will also be reporting them to Trading Standards, I would also like to add to this review if you look at other reviews on Trust pilot about this company it seems if you even buy something from them and you have any issues with them i.e it not fitting properly they try charging you in £50 fee for being worn please look at other reviews stating this, it seems as this company are nothing more than money grabs and have no loyalty or regards to their customers absolutely shocking

Shoddy Workmanship, Even More Arrogant Customer Service

I purchased two exact same rings from them in July 2022. I had worn mine pretty much daily, my partner wore theirs mainly on weekends/off days only.

By the beginning of December mine had lost 6 stones. My partner's ring had not lost any due to the fact it had been hardly worn. I returned only my ring to the Diamond store for assessment and repair under their supposed 5 year warranty. They assessed that I had caused the damage (six stones falling out) myself and that I was liable for the cost of the repairs. I had them return the ring for an independent assessment.

I then took BOTH rings for assessment at 3 local jewellers (all NAJ members) for their opinion. At no point did I give them a backstory or any prompting. I literally asked them "what is your opinion of these rings", and I explained they were both purchased together and one had been worn more than the other.

All three jewellers independently reached the same conclusion themselves:

• The stones have been set poorly in both rings

• The size of the stones in both rings are generally uneven

• The loss of diamonds in the first ring is due to the poor quality of the settings

• Besides general wear and tear from daily wearing, the first ring has not suffered any damage that would cause the diamonds to fall out

• The quality of the settings in the second ring are also poor, and even though there has been no loss of diamonds to date, it is highly likely to occur if worn again

To date the Diamond store have quoted me £450 to 'rebuild' the first ring which they then offered a £55 discount when I pointed out that them assessing their own work was not entirely 'ethical'. The local NAJ jeweller has quoted me £250 for the exact same job.

In ALL correspondence with the Diamond Store and NAJ they have blatantly ignored the quality of the build of the 2nd ring (the hardly worn one) so that they can justify my ring as having damage caused by myself. Literally not one email addresses the poor quality workmanship of the 1st ring because if they did they would also have to concur that the issue with my ring was down to poor quality workmanship and would then have to rebuild or refund BOTH rings.

Unfortunately I cannot upload photos here to show the appalling 'craftmanship' of both these rings and how they are a MILLION MILES from the photo advertised on their website. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to see the images.

The ring settings on the product page show much more substantial and uniform settings which clearly clasp the stones. The settings on the rings provided to us seem quite haphazard and sloppy, and in some instances the settings are barely even touching the stone. I must hasten to add that my ring was worn continuously since we received it until the beginning of December, whilst the second ring has barely been worn at all.

Given both these rings are now unwearable, they are considered unfit for purpose. I would STRONGLY recommend NOT TO PURCHASE anything from these clowns but instead go to you local independent jeweller where you will get a much better and professional service.

Where Else The Ring?

Ordered from them 16th December where it stated the ring was in stock and would be delivered 22nd December. Took the money and the next day got an e mail saying, sorry will be 4 weeks. Not happy as it was a surprise gift for my wife for Christmas. They offered a refund, which I would have got Christmas eve! They then offered to send a ring 2 sizes smaller than requested, I responded saying why on earth would I want a ring 2 sizes smaller? Nothing! I then received another e mail saying it would be delivered within 10 days and they have allowed extra time to ensure this. 20 days later, no ring, no contact and can't through via the phone. Stay well clear of this company!

Had to share the awful experience I’ve had with this bunch of clowns! Now let me start by saying THESE GUYS ARE NOT JEWELLERS!!! They’re resellers, they hold little to no stock and if they don’t have that stock you will be waiting AT LEAST 4 WEEKS for anything - assuming this is because everything is done offshore. I did my research and noticed the few bad reviews but assumed it was the minority that had been stung…the website suggests delivery will be in days, wasn’t until I’d forked out nearly 2 grand did they tell me there was an approx 30 day turnaround with no fixed delivery date..it was important I got the ring before a trip away…as above delivery is said to take days not weeks..

Initially I was faced with either wait or cancel, after emailing their managing director I was offered the same ring in platinum and the wrong size for double the price with £50 discount or 3 other rings nothing like what was ordered…1 of which also in the wrong size…I was then left a really patronising answerphone message by one of their staff because I wasn’t receiving their emails apparently..

I’ve gone today and sourced a better spec ring from an actual JEWELLER for slightly cheaper after being messed around by this lot all week! Honestly I read the one star reviews and thought they were just people throwing a mard however I can’t stress the pain in the backside these have caused me this week!! They should be ashamed of themselves,Go to a proper jeweller, not these buffoons!!

I would recommend Rosin Jewels, they are a manufacturer so I have got many pieces cheaper than the high street stores. I have recommended many people and they have all been very happy too. They are based in Hatton Garden.

Sure it was diamondsfactory they do have a store in Birmingham and Hatton garden and I believe they also now own the high street chain Austen Blake - I can’t remember the name of the lady I spoke to at Hatton garden but she was so helpful

I Am Ecstatic

This is my second purchase. The first ring i ordered Is still being made and I am being updated of its journey every wk. Can't wait for the final result. As it happens, I lost my wedding ring and was tempted to just brows on The diamond store and see if something catches my eye. I saw one which I fell in love, very quirky and so unusual . I bought it on fri and arrived on Saturday. Omg, I opened the box and there it was, its absolutely beautiful, diamonds quality are outstanding and its even better than my original ring. I loove it. If you have never used this store I would say, definitely recommend it 100 percent. I have high standards and this lovely shop has provided . Customer service is fast and extremely helpful. I think I will be a regular buyer now. My final word, I bought both rings on sale and for its value is absolute steal.

Avoid At All Costs. My Husband Ordered A Necklace

AVOID at all costs. My husband ordered a necklace 6 weeks ago and still hasn’t received it. He has contacted them 6 times over the last 6 weeks and has been fobbed off. They delete my negative messages on Facebook. There phone lines now have a message asking to e mail. They have taken the money from our account but now avoiding any communication. We are now in the process of reporting them. PLEASE AVOID.

Outstanding Service, Professional Online Company!!

I recently ordered a diamond ring from the diamond store, I honestly couldn't be more happier with the service I received, from the moment I found this company online to the enquiries I had throughout the service to then receiving the ring. I couldn't thank the person I dealt with enough as she helped me throughout everything and was always available to respond to any enquiries I had. Any problems I had she reassured me and went that extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. I received the ring about 3 weeks ago and I am very pleased with everything. I have read a few negative reviews in regards to this company and from my experience I would ignore the negativity because I believe this company and with dealing with the person I dealt with was perfect, I guess its hard to please everyone but I believe if you contact this company with any problems they will do everything they can within reason to sort anything out. I would certainly use this company again. I would like to thank her again as she was wonderful to deal with.

Awful service. Site shows products but not their stock levels which makes you believe they have what you want. After ordering an email tells me item not in stock so will take up to 7 days to arrive, so due today 19th Dec. Emailed customer service to get answers but yet to receive a reply. I then receive an email telling me I will get another email before 11 am toady with a 1hr delivery slot. No email but using tracking number it shows item will be delivered tomorrow 20th and again I will get an email with a delivery slot. Waste of time, if it does arrive it will be going back unopened, I wouldn't give them my business. Suggest you avoid.
