Excellent Service

This was the first time I have ever had such friendly, informative and unbiased advice to help me purchase a phone and where, being slightly older, I wasn't patronised or any assumption made on my knowledge.

I visited the Totnes store and spoke with a man who talked me through alternatives to the phone I was considering. Being more interested in the camera element he suggested and then demonstrated a phone which had better features than the one I had researched. I returned later to purchase and he told me about the cashback offer. Leigh, store manager, emailed me a copy of my receipt to be used in the offer to make it easy to apply.

In this world of aggressive sales my experience was hugely refreshing and confirmed by a friend who has also used their store. Thank you to the two people I dealt with, it was a pleasure doing business with you.

Discussing Customer Service

I took out a contact in the Stroud branch in June 2016. I received a letter and phone call stating my contract was coming to an end, the letter had no date and was very unprofessional. I decided to go to elsewhere for a new contract and couple months later I ended up with a £266 bill. When I rang to make a complaint they were not interested, stating it was my fault not theirs. They kept asking me to come into store, I asked to make a formal complaint to the head office, the employee who spoke to me on the phone had no idea off their complaints steps, she then referred me to another store manager instead. After being on the phone for 4 hours I finally got through to the operation manager who took my formal complaint and said he would investigate it. All I need to say is stay away from Go Moblie. Don’t take out a contract with them they will screw you over!

Terrible Staff

Go mobile has terrible customer service. Felt persuaded into signing a contract which was so,so expensive for what was included.

When I went back to the store with issues that developed they were not helpful at all. My advice is stay away. There are much better deals out there from alternate stores. (Abergavenny store.)

Unscrupulous!

I knew I was paying a premium for convenience, I didn't realise at the time that I could have gotten a contract with 3 directly for £34 pm for 12 gigs of data (which is more than I need) Instead, I'm paying £49 pm with extras added on (that I was unaware of £9 for insurance and £4 for tech support (?)) Apparently the person who sold me the contract no longer works there - they were terminated because of their unscrupulous practices. I feel they should have made me aware of less expensive plans that were in keeping with what I was asking for. They should also have pointed out on the contract that I was agreeing to the extra charges per month. It was a disingenuous transaction. They are predatory and total shisters. Go elsewhere.

Maybe they need to fire the staff at the nailsea branch...a load of conning bstrds that home in on the elderly. Every time my 84 year old mother passes the shop they sonehow persuade her to upgrade and take a new contract ...@ 1 point she had 3 live contract's with this c,on shop. ADVISE=stay away from this company. .go direct to 3 store for the best deals do not take a c,on tract via "go mobile. You'll end up with nothing, .

Poor Customer Service

I went into my local shop due to a problem I was having with my phone. The problem was resolved eventually with a lot of inconvenience to myself but instead of an apology I was made to feel a nuisance and that the female assistant had done me a favour which I should be grateful for! so much for CUSTOMER RELATIONS!! I shall not be renewing my contract with them.

Repair Service From Go Mobile

If you are careless with your phone ie drop or loose or might have it stolen - do not sign up with Go Mobile. The repair service puts all the onus on the customer, and even with insurance I had to pay an excess and cost of postage ! It will be 3 weeks by the time I get my phone back and not offered Loan Phone until I pushed for one after 10 days.

Dreadful Store Malton

I went into Malton shop to buy a lightning charger. I paid cash for the charger €15. The store assistant asked me for my name and address, I expressed surprise for a simple charger and gave her my surname, she then wanted more personal details, I declined on the basis I had only purchased a charger. My £20 note was slammed down on the counter and I was told no name and address, no sale, that's company policy.

The sad thing is we are due 2 new phone upgrades and like to support local businesses and now we will never use that shop again.

I went next door to WHSmith and bought the exact same charger for £10 without having to give my name or address.

Complete Rip Off

Took s7 edge out at a supposedly £49 a month had the phone for like a week wen I set up the my 3 app it said I had a £80 bill to pay and it said it was £60 a month considering the same phone with the same tariff was bein advertised by go mobile for £39 a month I tried to find out and resolve the issue of this bill and high monthly payment didn't get anywhere go mobile said I have to cancel it thru 3 so I phoned 3 they said there's nothing they can do and if I were to terminate the contract it would cost me just short of £1,200 to get out I got really really mad and hung up phoned go mobile head office demanded that some thing was done to immediately terminate contract and lone behold within 2 hours I had a call telling me to drop the handset at location of purchase/ contract. So my ADVICE IS NEVER EVER DEAL WITH A THIRD PARTIE FOR PHONE CONTRACTS

Go Mobile- Avoid At All Costs.

I was sold a 24month phone tariff last Saturday by GoMobile, Stroud. I was asked by the sales person what I paid currently for my iphone with O2 (£30) and given the choice of a Samsung J3 Galaxy (worth approx £150) at either £30, £40, or £45 monthly for 2 years (including £50 cashback to pay off 2 months tariff on my existing contract). I agreed to the £30 thinking he was giving me the best price and it was an equal phone to my existing iphone. I have since seen the exact same phone, network and tariff on GoMobile website at £14.00 monthly and 3 (which is the network he put me on) at £13.00. I was not made aware of any tariffs under £30 at the time. My previous tariff with O2 at the same monthly price was for a iphone worth £450 at the time and had 2GB of storage rather than the 500MB currently so I do not agree that I am paying like for like as the sales person argues. I have since had paperwork through with Direct Debits set up with my bank details on, from Gadget Helpline for gadget support at £3.99 monthly for this phone and for GoMobile Insurance at £6.99 monthly. I was not informed of or agreed to these services at point of sale and did not agree to my bank details being given out. I feel that giving my bank details to a third party without my knowledge to be a breach of data protection and feel that I have been totally mis-sold this tariff, insurance and gadget support. I have been back to the store with my complaint but the sales person denies that he has given me an extremely poor deal and that he did not inform me of lower tariffs or that he didn't inform me of the extra services he automatically signed me up for. He told me on Wednesday he was going to cancel my order, but has gone back on that and is trying to make me agree to a slightly lower tariff- not equal to the other providers.
