I have now bought 3 pairs from them, a serengeti for in the car and some rayban's for everyday and some gucci for the missus.

Bit dubious as ever buying from a new site not used before and with so many fake sunglasses out there but these were the proper thing and I had to go back for more. The missus loves her Guccis and will certainly go back for more once I lose these!

Customer service was also pretty good, came back to me reasonably quickly on a couple of queries i had

If I could give 0 stars then I would. I was very hesitant about purchasing sunglasses over the internet, especially when they somewhat cheaper than the RRP. I now suppose I should have gone with my gut feeling - if it seems too good to be true then it probably is! I read all the positive reviews on other review sites (TrustPilot) and it gave me confidence to proceed with my purchase. I now IMPLORE you not to do this and save your hard earned money!! I wouldn't normally write a review but I feel so passionate about this I feel its my duty to warn others!

I purchased some Ray Bans and wore them a couple of times in the UK and everything seemed fine. I then went abroad to Cuba which is obviously hotter than the UK and the sunglasses started to 'peel' like they had been sunburnt!! They looked cheap, fake and awful - extremely embarrassing as even if you removed the membrane, you could still see 'peeling skin'. Not what you would expect from designer sunglasses made (and presumably rigorously tested) in a hot country

Upon my return, I contacted the supplier via the eBay Messages channel (where I purchased them from) to explain the situation and looking for a replacement and heard absolutely nothing after 7 days - this started my first bout of concern!

I then searched through my PayPal receipt and found their email address, which I forwarded my original email to. Again, this took a couple of days to get a response - and a very snotty and incredibly impersonal one at that:

I replied asking for details of their warranty and for the details of the head of customer services as I was utterly dissatisfied with the initial response and now believe the glasses to be counterfeit.

I am sorry you don't find the response satisfactory.

We do not advertise a warranty at all, apart from a standard 1 month return policy. We will occasionally extend the courtesy up to 6 months on a case by case basis but that is as far as we can go and generally only up to 3 months.

Your sunglasses are not counterfeit and we have full documentary proof of purchase from authorised distributors., trading online for over 8 years.

I am sorry we are unable to help you further, the manufacturer Ray-Ban may well be able to help you with a warranty claim if you contact them directly.

It is very easy to make a claim that you are a genuine dealer and that you have been trading online for a long time, but when transparency is requested, this is a different matter!!

Avoid this amateur outfit like the plague and just pay that bit extra and buy them from a well known and reputable supplier.

I bought a pair of Serengeti Sunglasses from Discounted Sunglasses which broke in their first week of use. They were in my pocket at the time of a pair of loose fitting shorts and hardly any pressure was applied to them.

There is no way that these sunglasses were ever built to a full factory standard. I have never known any pair of sunglasses to break so easily.

Be warned - I believe that many of the sunglasses sold by discounted sunglasses are seconds or returns.

I was offered only a £10 refund on an £80 pair of sunglasses. After being told the item had gone back to Serengeti for inspection, I asked for proof of this and they were unable or unwilling to give it to me. Clearly, the glasses had not been returned to Serengeti and discounted sunglasses were quite happy to keep my money having sold me a second-rate product.

Very disappointed with this site. Paid for glasses for my son's 18th birthday then recieved notification they were not in stock. Far to late to retrieve the situation so i couldn't give him the present he wanted. If items are not in stock they shouldn't be advertised and they should NOT be taking money from my account befiore telling me they can't deliver. I recommend you AVOID this website.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses from this company recently. Overall, the quality of the product was satisfactory, but it seemed like it was just the bare minimum that I received, hence I give a 3 star rating.

The website is alright but could be a little more user friendly.

Customer service was a bit slow and seemed like they didn't fully read my question... so I was partially disappointed with that... However, I would recommend this site since the product was fine.

I had aviators before so was a bit wary here as they are much cheaper than other stores but i checked them out on Ebay beforehand and they have loads of good feedback there so i went for it. All good on the aviators, perfect sunglasses with all the gubbins. Cool!
